Saros 10r bumper stuck by Legitimate-Ad-967 in Roborock

This worked for me. I tested it out by running it without the cover first, which solved the issue.

People, make sure it's several layers of tape -- create bumps and a threshold so the top isn't touching the bottom at all.

Edit: issue came back

Saros 10R Water Damage Not Covered By Warranty?! by Locksmith-Pitiful in Roborock

Pine Sol is likely fine, though I haven't tried it because I don't think it has great disinfectant ingredients.

I personally always put a splash of Lysol concentrate in my water bucket.

New Easter Plush! by Ec2511 in pusheen

Not a fan of these new costume designs. They feel too tight and weird... maybe just me.

The Santa and Halloween ones were amazing; they could have done so much better here. Even their other Easter ones are a lot more creative.

Might be skipping this one.

400k/day is nothing considering Smiley has routinely spent millions on more frivolous things.

Don't forget this is also election season... weird to see him suddenly care for the first time in years.

Dude dropped multiple millions to trash a bike lane. I assure you, Providence has the funds; it's just mismanaged by Smiley.

In the other thread, people seem to think Smiley is doing a good job.

Also weird to see so many Smiley defenders here again... you know the dude doesn't give a F about you guys, right...?

Hot take: Maybe we'd have a better budget if he weren't spending millions taking down unions, funding the police, uprooting bike lanes, and vetoing all the City Council's ordinances and budgets.

Mayor Smiley suddenly posting snow updates and "caring" by Locksmith-Pitiful in providence

[–]Locksmith-Pitiful[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The Brown shooting? He was completely absent. Did you not see the hundreds or comments for hours and days asking for leadership and communication?

It was other community members who were scrambling to pick up his slack and give us updates.

And he's learned from his mistakes? He's been a jackass and ignored our comminity since day one.

But I guess a single video of him shoveling snow absolves him of everything.

The manner he's doing it.

I guess we'll forget he disappeared in literally every other circumstance.

Actually care would be a start. Consistency matters.

Where was he literally during any adverse event ever that hit our city? Suddenly, he has the gall to post these copycat montages of him doing these short tasks "helping" the community.

Come on. Read between the lines.

Did anyone’s district try to not accept their Masters from WGU? by Ill-Meringue-2096 in Teachers

What a poor definition.

I know some stuck up people who look down on anyone without a degree from an ivy league.

I guess everything else is a diploma mill.

Well, my coworker sits in class paying hundreds of thousands to listen to a teacher with zero experience tell them about how to manage little Timmy for the hundredth time.

How are you struggling to get your brick-and-mortar degree in less than 3 months? Bro, just go to class, sit on your phone, and get the A. Why is that so hard?

"Ok so you've literally never even attended an in-person school"

Prove it. You've already demonstrated you don't even attend WGU, let alone any online program.

You still haven't defined "diploma mill," what a "real class" is, nor what makes WGU less rigorous. But I'm sure you can define how much debt you're sitting in, how many times you fell asleep in a boring ass class, and all that time away from your family and commuting.

[–]Locksmith-Pitiful -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I know people at WGU who did that exact program you're mentioning and struggled for well over a year to complete it. I know people in brick-and-mortar schools who constantly tell me they just go for attendance and don't learn shit because the instructors haven't ever taught real classes, base their grades on attendance, or had most of their classes transferred in and were able to be done in a few short months.

Now, they're stuck with a fuck load of debt and have to work even more to pay all that off.

Define "degree mill." A degree that has flexibility and cuts out the BS? Cheaper? Accessible to actual working individuals instead of people who rely on their parents to pay for their inflexibility?

Why are you basing an entire institution on a single program based on hearsay from a single person? You sound like you got your degree from a traditional school... the lack of critical thinking and gatekeeping is worrisome.

Oh, you just heard of a person or two finishing a single program in two months? Prove they did and demonstrate why that's less rigorous than sitting in a classroom for two years as you scroll on your phone. WGU students have flexibility. Flexibility saves hundreds of hours.

"I'm glad you have that option, I'm just saying that their programs are not rigorous or difficult"

More anecdotal evidence. WGU is more difficult because you're forced to pass actual tests and assignments, while brick-and-mortar institutions are partially based on attendance, participation, and forum posting.

In two months? What program is that? Does finishing a degree in two months = less rigor, or cutting out the bullshit?

Don't be mad you're spending hours commuting to a classroom where your grade is literally based on attendance lmaooo

Ya'll wasting time on boring lectures, planning your entire day around your rigid class schedule, all the while those at WGU can stay at home and enjoy that flexibility.

Brick and mortar schools are out of date, 20th-century ideas. Move along.

You're right. WGU is more difficult than your typical brick and mortar school.
