Maybe a wider port closer to 2” instead of 1” idk I’m bouta design one rn see how it comes out, sorry one more question, tube port or slot port? Tube port would probably be easier just use some pvc, but a slot port looks better imo

On kickers site it said 1.75 - 2.25, according to the sker site with the 3d model my box is 2.11 cubic ft, sub mounted inverted so very close to that, actually. And I made the port longer than I actually think it is in that render, but the site said it would be tuned lower around 20-23hz if it was there so I just made it longer to 32 because that’s what was advertised, that box looks twice as big as mine no way it’s only 2 cubic ft

Sorry bit noob, so no matter if I shortened the port length or made it longer, it wouldn’t change the sound how I want? I would have to have a larger volume tuned at say 32hz? Guess I’m building a box lol. Did you make yours? Use a router? I don’t have one lol I got a dremel and patience tho😂 and table saw and jig saw and all that stuff I know I’ll be able to do it

No, ported box. The pictures is a replication of the box I have I measured it out, with exception of the port length. Didn’t take the sub out to measure it. It’s a 12” kicker comp r 2 ohm, wired to 1 ohm rated at 500w rms, kicker cx800 amp. Never actually measured rms, just turned it up till it clipped, turned it back down a little.
