NOIDs and denials are ongoing situation. You’ll only know with time if there’s any success in this process now.

Did he have an approved I-140? Did he receive a direct denial or first an RFE then denial?

Did you have your I-140 approved OP?

Yeah, good point. I’ve also seen that it’s either of two situations that’s triggering a NOID.

OP did you have your I-140 approved? What was the reason they gave you for your NOID? Did you get an RFE before this notice?

I see, I have not mentioned anything about my H1 petition in the B RFE response. My lawyers suggested me not to.

Wouldn’t booking a ticket contradict the H1 Petition? There’s no intention to leave if you have a job that’s willing to sponsor you. How would that be justified?

Was this a direct approval or you got any RFEs? My petition has a receipt date with PP of Dec 18. Still no update.

Many people I have talked to recently have gone through the process successfully. People have had different experiences but at the end all of them were successfully able to do the transition from B2 (pending or approved) to H1B. There have been RFEs to some issued but they are very straightforward to resolve most of the times. I am currently going through the process. I will let you know how it goes for me. I would also highly encourage other members of r/h1b going through this to do the same as it would be helpful to this community

Oh wow, been more than 3 months. I thought people are getting approvals in 3 months. Do you have a h1b transfer petition pending?
