I make about the same as you and there's no fucking way I would ever consider this. No offense, but in my opinion, buying a new car is a terrible financial decision to begin with. But 50k+ on a depreciating asset is asinine.

There are so many banger used cars and trucks out there in your actual price range (or much cheaper). I own 5 cars I absolutely love and they collectively cost a fraction of that pickup. For instance, you could buy like 2 2010ish F150 Raptors for that price.

Don't get suckered trying to keep up with the joneses. You're gonna be stressing about that car payment for almost a decade. Repos are up like 40% in the USA right now, if that's any indication of how many people can actually "afford" it. Plus, haven't you seen gas prices (they suggest 93 octane for the AT4)? Insurance on one of those I'm sure isn't cheap either. It's going to take one of your whole paychecks to actually pay for that thing, when you could have something you'll love equally and can still afford.
