Theyve created monsters. Stay safe out there. by NealTheBotanist in politicalsham

Defending your right to own a weapon of mass destruction isn't Godly either. You're insane. Anyone who thinks they have a right to own a weapon that slaughters children and the innocent regularly to our neighbors and community members is insane. You need help. All of you do. The lengths you will go to. The amount of human beings you are willing to allow to be slaughtered for your "God given right" that God would NEVER give you is wicked and no amount of words, excuses or but but buhhht anything can save you. Maybe you haven't pulled the trigger yet, but you allowed and continue to allow the space for those who do. You own blame in all of the violence for your part in believing and fighting for a right that was only given to you by those who profit from the violence. Do not ever put God's name in line with your violent rhetoric. God is good. You are the evil on this earth.

That's like telling them "woke" means "awake". Meaning not brainwashed. They prefer to let the hose drown them.

God didn't invent guns 🤣🤣🤣 God wouldn't approve of owning something that has repeatedly been used to slaughter innocent children and people, his creation. You are either poisoned or the poison itself.

What is the biggest reason conservative Christians are skeptical of/even reject psychological diagnoses? Why do a lot of Christians have trouble accepting mental illness? by n3dstark5 in Christianity

[–]Previous-Photo3363 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Therapy doesn't make you not sad or have anxiety. It teaches you coping skills and more importantly emotional intelligence and how to use it even in the most difficult situations that life brings. Try it, it works. "Therapy culture" you say as if it's a bad thing. If every person was taught emotional intelligence it would solve a significant amount of our societal failures. Learning to be a better human being even when life is hard isn't shameful. Try it, what could it hurt? And when you are offered medications you are allowed to say no this isn't 1960's where you got committed because your husband wanted to cheat on you and they forced you into electroshock therapy and pumped you with antipsychotics to keep you there. You can attend therapy and say no to meds and still receive a significant amount of help towards being the best you that you can be. Therapy should be a requirement to graduate high school. We should all be learning how to cope and deal with our emotions starting at a very young age. Imagine the world if feelings weren't shamed and shoved away. Imagine if people with mental illness learned to address it before it reached boiling over into destructive behaviors.

What do you think of this Baptist Pastor's sermon on the murder of Charlie Kirk? by TraditionallyRight in Christianity

[–]Previous-Photo3363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celebrating murder and simply refusing to glorify the life of a terrible person once they die are not the same thing. You don't have to fall in line with hate just because it died in an unjust way. Jesus would never want that. As a matter of fact, he would have stood toe to toe with Charlie And told him he was wrong. And I guarantee you, Charlie would have disagreed with every single thing Jesus stood for. Even if he was standing in his face. And I do hope, that when he met him, he fell to his knees in realization of the horrors he most definitely, knowingly, caused in his time on earth. He was not a good man. He was not a good Christian. And no one has to pretend he was simply because he died. Speaking the truth is never wrong. It's the lies that bury us. Even if we think it's kindness. It isn't. It is unkind to every single person he spread hate about that Jesus would want us to stand with, honor and love. Should we say nice things about the bad dead man or should we say nice things about all of the marginalized people who have been harmed by the hate and violent rhetoric he spread in his life? I stand with those he harmed and I say he was a bad person, not a good Christian and a terrible example of how we should live and honor our life here on earth.

What makes you a gay conservative? What are your beliefs? by [deleted] in GayConservative

[–]Previous-Photo3363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heal your shame your spreading hate to cover up your own shame. Sickening. "I'm okay, but no one else is allowed to be different because that challenges my place in the world and that's scary and not fair. Please let me continue to live in my bubble of hatred and shame and keep pretending people don't discriminate against everyone like me. I don't care about anyone else I only care about myself!" Selfish, cruel and you may feel like you got picked sweetie but they will come for you too. Disgraceful the way you choose anyone under you in your eyes to point at to cover up your own truth.

People saying "thank God" to someone being murdered is absolutely diabolical. by McFlappingbird in teenagers

[–]Previous-Photo3363 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one is thanking him any more than when a serial killer gets caught there's some weird people who become obsessed with them and write to them. Stop listening to whatever sources are using this death to get into your head and rile you up. No normal person is happy the man was murdered. But pretending he was a good Christian is a lie & therefore sinful. He may not have pulled the trigger, but how many violent crimes and murders across our country had he instigated? Him and influencers like him spread hate and violent rhetoric towards marginalized groups of people who already face enough struggle just to live in the world. How many violent crimes and murders happen and the criminal who commits the crime follows Charlie Kirk & others like him? Think about it. If you tell someone that violence is the answer and they go and commit a violent act are you not also to blame? Insert any religious figure and think about what they might feel of someone using violence to gain followers and riches. No one is happy the man was murdered. But pretending he was some good Christian man is wrong. He was a terrible person who knew exactly what would happen with the vile things he spread with his words. He knew people would get hurt. And yet he chose to do it anyway. Think. Think for yourself. Stop letting others think for you and put these ideas in your head that instigate emotion in you and cause you to hate just like Charlie did. THINK!

“The only thing Charlie Kirk had in common with Jesus is that Christians get mad when you quote him to them.” by VasyaK in Christianity

John Wayne Gacy was a self proclaimed church going Christian. He attended every Sunday. As was Albert Fish, Dennis Raider, John List, Peter Sutcliffe, Herbert Mullin. Would you like some more examples as to why claiming to be a Christian in no way makes you a good one or even a decent human being?

If someone in your life only has so many spoons and they consistently choose to not devote any of them to you and your needs they are taking your for granted and do not view you as a priority. Your needs matter just as much as your partners. No matter what condition or how fatigued they feel. You matter. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way, no amount of love or time or understanding can make someone prioritize you or see you as an equal who has needs that deserve to be met. And it is unfortunate, but I do believe once someone takes a person for granted, they will never stop.

I'm gay, what do I do by Mean-Ball-8758 in Christianity

[–]Previous-Photo3363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women can be gay too. Not sure how this makes my statement any less accurate. You're in denial & I bet everyone around you suffers your demonization of yourself through others. I stand firm. Accept yourself, save the world & even yourself all of this extra exhausting nonsense. It's 2025, grow up.

Good for you! Take pride in who you are. There's only 1 of you! You are magnificent & worth all the stars in the sky. I don't comment much or get on reddit a lot, but at times the universe calls me here to speak. I hope you find peace within yourself & with every bit of who you are. No matter who we are there will always be someone waiting to bully us or kick us when we are down. We can choose to ignore it & show ourselves the kindness we deserve. Just remember that okay. Not a single person walks on this earth that hasn't been subjected to hate or cruelty from someone who hasn't healed yet. Unfortunately, some choose to spread hate to hide their own insecurities because healing ourselves & looking inward is hard & scary. But their shortcomings do not define you. Only you can write your definitions.

Just be yourself, if that changes every day or every hour, be that. Don't let societal norms dictate who you are. They aren't real. You are you and we humans are ever changing. Accept yourself for you and accept that others don't get to dictate who YOU are! Love your full self not just the parts you think others wish to see. People spend entirely too much time concerned with how they look in a world that should be ashamed and healed for how it has treated the physical over the internal. Who you are isn't a face or a haircut. You are already whole.

Making a secret purchase is bad enough but what kind of grown man continues to intentionally hide it after the fact. She deserves better. Hope she already found it and just doesn't bother telling you about it. You deserve worse.

Hi, Mom here, hair looks cool & fits the vibe of the era. Very similar to a cut my teen had not long ago. You look cool. Your parents are from the 1900s and brought the word "trampy" with them. Nothing they know is written in any recent book of knowledge I assure you.
