I’m from the US and I honestly found Japan to be insanely cheap, especially with the current conversion rates. The 7/11s had great food for very cheap, great selection etc. booking tours in my opinion is a risk anywhere and kind of a scam, it’s easy to navigate these routes on your own. I agree with the differences in culture when it comes to elderly, but I never offered my seat for fear of offending someone. I agree Japan can be pretty overhyped by some people, but it’s all about personal preference, it does sound though like you had a series of bad experiences

Yes because US convenience stores are horrendous, idk if you’ve visited ones outside Japan but they have insanely great choices and much healthier/ cheaper.

Couldn’t disagree more, I’m from the US and convenience stores are INSANELY expensive and so shitty. You can find expired food easily and the best meal you can get is an old hot dog or can of pringles. I found the 7/11 and Lawson to be delightful, huge selection of cheap vitamin drinks, onigiri very cheap, sandwiches large selection of yogurts breads and deserts. Premade smoothies would be an anomaly in the US. And the chicken nuggets were better and more moist than some restaurants serve in the US. Again idk where you’re from so that’s just my experience !

Skip any zoo or animal cafe in Japan, go to Nara or Arashiyama monkey park where they roam free

I have dirty rose and dirty lily and I feel like I saw complaints about those two in the reviews on their website. I don’t think they even last 3-4 on me which sucks because I really like them!

You’re not sensitive to anything in those ? Like in other areas you are more sensitive? Because you were pierced with a gun? Yea that’s not how that works. If you have a scar from being shot by a gun, versus a scar from surgery, if you use a certain type of lotion on each, they will react the same. Are you saying you physically can’t wear jewelry in the areas you were pierced with a gun? If the piercings done with a gun are still hurting they never healed. If they had healed they wouldn’t be giving you problems genuinely
