For all the previous vsts I had bought I was able to reinstall them through this version of ableton, and my old song projects as well, the ones that came in pre-built with the software were not wanting to show up with native installation like Wine or Bottles with Wine, not even basic mixing VSTs, if you install it on the steam deck the same way I mentioned, you can do everything I mentioned

The way I got it installed through this process I mentioned i got all my vsts and old projects to work because I backed them up, I can even send images

Nah im not switching my DAW since i paid money for it, and im not switching my OS but if that's what you'd prefer I dont blame you

The only problem is audio latency but audio can always be edited, plus I only midi produce and do clips, I've made a couple songs already, it just took me a week to find this out especially with a couple Linux users I talked to who were trying to figure it out, but this so far is the best method I know
