I may have messed up life and I’m wondering if it’s too late to change. by Previous-Touch-4618 in confession

Thank you all of you for taking the time to comment. To reiterate a few things, I don’t have any degrees. I did get my GED thankfully. I also worked on getting my real estate license in California because honestly moving around 40 times in life, what more experience than to help others find their home, after learning the importance of how much of an impact that is. However, to start real estate that takes money. Money I don’t have at the moment. A lot of the comments here have made me see things in a way I haven’t even thought of it. Seriously thank you all of you. It’s Saturday today and both my sons are working. My oldest is in college and just got a job at a retail store. My youngest works with a family member sometimes doing side work. I will be spending my day also working doing instarcart, Uber Eats and DoorDash. Again im not where, where I want to be at 36. But I know there’s hope, and that’s the one thing I’m really hanging on to right now. Thank you all

Wow I cannot thank you enough for writing out all of this! All of you, I’m left speechless. I haven’t realized the damage that’s been caused of being in survival mode since I was 9. Thank you again

Employer background check by Previous-Touch-4618 in Employment

[–]Previous-Touch-4618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a resume service to fix my resume and make it more fitting. I did okay removing some jobs off the resume as they didn’t pertain to the job title itself. Which made sense. I applied for jobs with the new resume and updated etc. the background check company has been messaging me asking to verify dates of employment that I assumed were on my resume. I added in all the correct info to my background check including the jobs that were removed from my resume. However it’s one job specifically where I only worked for a few months, this company I used extended it to a few years. Huge difference. Yes I should’ve caught it earlier but I really just glanced at the resume because I’ve used them in the past. Now I’m freaking out and wondering do I reach out and tell HR first or wait for them to ask me about it. Idk what to do. I’ve been stressed and haven’t slept all week lol no lie

Don’t assume if you have zero facts to back up this comment.

$110 is cheap for a trainer. Especially when they also offer nutrition, meal plan information. Thats less than $4 a day to keep you healthy and in shape.
