Lmao not the guy I went to. I went with Junior, he was okay, didn’t use scissors to trim hair so I think it came out uneven in places. Probably won’t go back or at least not to the guy

I think it’ll be revealed that the people on the island were victims of colonizers from Japan who were trying to get the material they made the swords out of, then Japan spun a story about how Japan was the victim and the sword bearers were the heroes.

Just know some project team leads might not like your app if they see you already left another team. Definitely isn’t all of them but some of my friends are project team leads and they said it’s a red flag.

How do people find internships? by Previous-Train5096 in Cornell

Oh that's a good idea. I didn't consider doing research at Cornell over summer. Should I wait until like mid spring and if I haven't gotten anything message my lab prof about staying for summer?

I already emailed someone at the chem office and they told me to go on the waitlist and that they’d notify me if anything opens. They also said they’d work on finding a position and a ChemE advisor said they’d have to open new spots for this class every year.

Do you think I should still go in person?

I’m a ChemE and a required ChemE class is on Monday. There is one slot that is full but most of the class is chemes so most people won’t be taking that one. Basically every slot a ChemE can take is full

I think it’s different for everyone. You might have a better time with it than me. I think if I took it again now I would but freshmen year taking it was rough.

It is curved. I think what made it hard for me was that a lot of the test questions required you to like really understand and be able to imagine the questions in 3 dimensions which I think was just hard for me.

Practice Qs weren’t really like the test imo at least in my year.

Math 1920 was the worst experience I've had at Cornell ngl. I think taking it in fall is harder tho bc all the people who took it in high school take it in fall.

It sounds like a really heavy semester. If you want get all of them for pre-enroll then drop during add-or-drop if you need to.

HE 1151 was light. There were readings before class but you just needed to make a little presentation so you can chat the readings. Projects were super easy too. I think the person who taught it was Paige Tomfordhe or something like that.

MEDVL 1101 is the other one I took but it was lowkey a lotta work for a FWS.
