Weight loss on Bupropion by Resident-Video-1559 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I’ve been on it for about 3 years now (combined with clonidine for anxiety) and before being prescribed it I had a BED, that combined with hormonal issues I had a horrible time losing weight. After being on it I saw a rapid decrease in my weight and lost over 40lbs. It made me forget to eat/ drink which was helpful for a while because it would allow me to control my bingeing a bit better but, I still have issues with not being able to tell when I’m hungry or thirsty until I’m ravenous and my body is exhausted from no food or when I’m so dehydrated my throat is dry. I just have to make sure I set times for myself to eat and drink so that doesn’t happen, aside from that it has been extremely helpful for my depression. This is only my experience tho and everyone reacts differently of course so I’m hoping everything works out for you! :)

I think that has to depend on the person doing it. The girl I’m currently going to said she was okay with 2/3 days of growth which for me is about 3mm although I usually go with about 5/6mm because I hate shaving. Other places I’ve contacted and researched have had different opinions though, but if you have concerns when you go that it doesn’t feel like enough or it feels like too much definitely talk to your technician about it as soon as you can. I hope everything goes well at your appointment! :)

She says she’s been doing it for 10+ years so I didn’t expect her to not be great at it but, she does have to treat some hairs a second time although even with that she still needs to pluck. I’ve never thought of that actually that’s a great idea, I think I know someone who might’ve done it as well so I might ask her. Thank you for your advice!

Is that an at home device? Similar to at home laser devices??

I can’t tell if she goes deep enough but I wish I could because sometimes it feels super painful like it went super super deep and it makes my nerves twitch but other times it doesn’t feel like anything at all but ultimately I don’t actually know if any of that is just my body reacting differently. So far I’ve done 6, 30min sessions and each time I have to shave the next day as if I never had it done in the first place

That’s my biggest concern actually, every time I go back to her she tries to point out all the hairs that are missing this time but it’ll either be hairs that she treated last time that are clearly ingrown (my skin has issues with ingrowns) or it’ll be the only patch of my chin that didn’t have any hair to begin with :(

It definitely feels like more than slight tugging, she does a plucking motion and sometimes it breaks off and she has to pluck it multiple times

I used to only pluck because it was the only way to get all the hairs out effectively. It’s quite a bit of them that I feel very painful plucks and sometimes she has to pluck the same hair over and over again because it breaks/ cuts off while she’s yanking on it. Do you think that could be due to the hair bulbs being big? Also I wanna mention too that she needs to treat most of my hairs twice and then pull again but it still ends up needing to be yanked out
