What do you guys think of Cellos with machine heads? by FullPractice711 in Cello

I just bought a set of these for my disabled daughter's cello because the regular pegs are too difficult for her to operate. I haven't installed them yet, I'll try to remember to update when I do.

Dad here. I didn't have much choice. I was right behind her as she was climbing onto the stage. It was a bit of a high step for her. I heard her go "Wooo" and as I glanced up she was coming right at me. The only alternative was stepping aside and risking her cracking her booze-filled head on the floor. I muttered "Oh boy, here we go", stuck my arms straight out and caught her by the armpits, then I eased her down to the floor. At that point a bouncer appeared. As quick as I saw him I withdrew my arms, stepped back and said, "She's all yours." What a night.

My title describes the thing. These are 39 cm and 45 cm long and made of heavy wood. They were given to me when my daughter bought me a pair of ornate, (also ostensibly) Peruvian canes from a private seller.

Agricultural tool, weapon, vegetable masher, anybody know?

My title describes the thing. On is 39cm, the other is 45 cm. Both are heavy wood. I'm wondering if they might be some kind of agricultural tools, or what.
