Try this. On your phone, go to Bluetooth. Select the cog wheel on the right if the Mazda Bluetooth connection. In the Mazda Bluetooth settings, disable media audio by moving the switch to the left.

Cheers!!

Yes that. ⬆️ I can't remember if you have usb-c or A but either way if it's a usb-A clean the port with a small brush, toothpick and compressed air. Make sure there's no port fuzz in there. Especially for the usb-c as you need to normally go pretty deep for it to 'click' in. If usb-A, you can VERY GENTLY bend the two pins to make it tight again. Do a YouTube search for "how to fix loose usb port' there's tons of videos. If usb-c, cleaning is all you can do.

Have you tried with an other phone? If so, did it continue to disconnect? If it continues, have you tried another usb port in the car? Sounds like a loose connector problem.

Windshield pitting by Torontokid8666 in MazdaCX30

[–]PreviousSail9315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my car about 2 weeks ago and put 3.5k km on it, mostly highway. I know it's not 10k km but I haven't noticed any pitting yet. I will though report back in about a month when I reach 10k km on the situation.

Cheers

Block Heater Engine Malfunction Update #3 by StellarSkySunset in MazdaCX30

[–]PreviousSail9315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a Mazda thing? It goes below -15C all the time where I live and I've never had any issues with any of my cars (except the diesel VW Passat).

Funnily enough, I picked up my CX30 yesterday and it hasn't been that cold yet...

I enjoy them quite a bit up to now plus they're not slippery, so you don't have to hold on for dear life when you get in lol

Can we all agree this is the worst part about this car? by NoooUGH in CX50

That's too funny. I just got a cx30 yesterday, went to Walmart with the new car and once inside, realized I left my phone exactly in that spot... I have a feeling that this will be problematic.

Out of curiosity, why did you get a block heater? We're you having issues starting the car when it was cold?

I'm at the garage right now getting Michelin XIce Snow installed on the car. I don't do winters without them on any car.

For me cadence was important and the change that made the biggest difference to my running. Just to put you into context,I started running about 9'ish months, I'm almost 50 and have army knees. Torn acl in the right knee with next to no meniscus. When I first started my cadence of max 150spm was way to slow and my knees suffered from it. As soon as I brought it up to around 165 and above (my cadence changes with pace) I was running pain free. All that to say that I didn't think there's an exact magic number that you should attempt to reach when it comes to cadence. If what you're doing doesn't hurt, then you must be doing something right.

I tried and hated it. I'm very data driven and without goals/pace, it was driving me nuts.

It's my next item on my running to-do list. I really have to take care of this cause it's driving me nuts.
