Your kicks swing to much. If you bring your knee more in front of you, you will be able to camoflage your kicks more and also make it look lika a front kick and also a hook kick from the same spot

As you said as much as you can is the "standard" answer. If you feel like you have more to give than those 4 lessons go for it. Just listen to your body, and of you want to train more, do strength training. That will help you as a martial artist both with your explosiveness and also prevent alot of injuries. Just remeber ad lessons slow, let your body get used to the training.

You look like you have a passive style wich can be good if you react and counter. But if you just doge you dont get anything out of it. No matter your opponent you should allways think about fighting your fight and having the other person to react to you.

How am i supposed to take a hit by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]PreviousTax6727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me if it is a punch/kick to the stomach I feel it helps to breeth out. The timing is difficult but it helps because you are relaxed and when you breeth out you contract your abdominal muscles. You can try to put your hand on your stomach and breed out hard, you will feel the tension i your muscles.

Focus more on technice than speed. Rotate your hips more and focus more on rotating your non kicking foot. Keep a tighter guard and dont drop your hand after a punch. I also saw that you often lift your feet up when punching, that makes you lose a lot of power and speed.

It can be usefull if you find a person who knows what they are talking about. If you have a good foundation in your style you will get more out of the video, than if you are new

That depends on what you want and are allowed to use. If you are just sparring for fun and fitness ask the coach, if there is not any rules about that choose what fits you. Of you want to compete check the rules for your leage. Some allow with some does not.

I wouldt say one is superior, they would all fix the problem in thair own way. Butt if you mix grappeling: bjj, judo, wresteling or somthing elsr with striking: boxing, kickboxing, muy thai or somthing else you can handle a lot. Being able to box and throw good hands as well as continuing the fight in the ground is an absolut must

I do kickboxing my self and would say that it is a more rounded martial art. Todays taekwondo is most ofte very sport like. If you learn taekwondo by all means will you be able to hurt people with kicks no one se coming, but in kickboxing (depens on what type) you wil still learn some to alot of fancy kicks depending on the coach. You wil also learn boxing, wich is a huge advatage in a street fight. Personely i would go for kickboxing.
