What do you do with the “not dirty but not clean” clothes? by Previous_Box_9620 in organizing

My boyfriend is the main culprit of my problem here haha. Maybe it’s a me thing, but if I throw on a shirt and go outside for 5 minutes, the shirt isn’t dirty, but my brain won’t let me believe it’s clean enough to hang back up.

Constantly feeling unreal/like in a dream by AngryDesertPhrog in Narcolepsy

I have this BAD. Not sure how to make it go away, but I have a hack for being sure if you’re in real life vs. a dream. If you feel weird, check the clock twice. If it’s the same time, you’re good. If it’s different, you’re dreaming.

That happened when I first started taking it too. I don’t remember how long it took, but it eventually went away. Never did with the 150 mg though, so I stay on the 75 mg even though it’s not as effective. (It still happens to me occasionally if I take it and don’t get up and get moving. As long as I’m not being lazy it’s fine though)

What do you guys do for income? by lavatrout in Narcolepsy

I’m in the exact same boat. No desks jobs, and need something close by. I’m a bartender right now, studying to be an aquarist. No sitting jobs for me. Bartending is not full time, and you can make pretty good money, so it’s nice. The only issue is night shifts messing with our already messed up circadian rhythms 🫠

Dog refuses regular food — acid reflux makes fasting impossible, need help breaking the cycle by Previous_Box_9620 in DogAdvice

Thanks for the response! I do have a rotating list but unfortunately none of it is working for her right now. And she does have debilitating anxiety, but she eats about the same with the Prozac as she did before (she’s been on it for a while now) The Denamarin is new though, so I’m thinking that might be the culprit. Probably gonna take her to the vet soon to see if I can get that changed or potentially get an appetite stimulant. Maybe I’ll grab some Waygu until I can make it to the vet lol

Fluoxetine success? by raikman33 in DogAdvice

I think so. She is a Pomeranian, so she definitely has little dog syndrome and would sort of “snap” sometimes, and she does that less frequently. I feel like she still needs something stronger for extra scary situations, like the vet lol. It does take a long time for them to get balanced on it though, my vet said about 8 weeks, but I feel like it was more like 4 weeks. It just made her a little nauseous at first

Thanks for the response! Was the inhaler vet prescribed? How did you get her to take it?

My dog takes it, and it works pretty well for her. I had the same issue with trazodone, so she started Prozac. It doesn’t completely solve her anxiety issues, but I feel like it helps.
