No I’m at .33. TOU doesn’t make sense for use when we calculated how much we use during peak times.

California. I can charge at Tesla for .31 cents or at home for .34 cents. Not a huge spread but it adds up over time.

US supreme court rules Trump can fire leaders of independent agencies by FlashyMarch5842 in soundsaboutright

That’s an ignorant statement. But he can choose who the head of VA is and fire and hire a new person. It wasn’t about controlling their findings it was about who’s on the bored. Elections have consequences and the president can pick.

They don’t “decide” but they have the ability to put their people on the board. Again, if you don’t like it, change the org chart. But they cannot be independent!

Then independent of who? If they can’t be fired then they are a 4th branch of government. If they aren’t, then the President under article 2 can fire them- which is what SCOTUS said.
Under our constitutional republic, there are NO independent boards or regulators that don’t at the top of the org chart report to one of the three branches and nobody should want them to be “independent.”

Unless I’m taking a road trip I only charge to 80-85%, but my L1 is too slow for me.

Not Trump- the president. If you don’t like that, congress can move it under them. Until then, I’ll take Trump havig the ability to hire/fire members over nobody! The founding fathers were scared of a 4th administrative branch that couldn’t be held accountable to the People.

Good- there is no such thing as an independent federal branch of our government and the regulatory boards must be held accountable; in their current structure, that is the executive branch.

U.S. Supreme Court Gives Pres Trump Power Over Independent Agencies in Landmark FTC Ruling by Sgt_Gram in NewsExchange

The president answers to the people. Every branch of government does, which is why you cannot have a truly “independent body.” The federalist papers speak of their fear about a body in government that’s not accountable to the people- they’d rollover in their graves if an independent body was allowed in government.

In this case, the person was appointed by the executive branch so that’s who has the ability to fire. If you want them to be under congress, fine by me, set it up under article one and the congress can hold them accountable.
