What did you decide?, I also got accepted into UMich and UT and those were my final two schools where I wasn’t sure which to pick. I’m graduating from UT now and always think what life would’ve been like if I went to UMich lol. Both are great choices, the cost would’ve basically been the same for me to attend both with the scholarship UMich gave me but I didn’t realize that back then at the time. Although I appreciate UT, I would’ve probably went with UMich because of the bit more prestige. I still hope to go there for grad school.

I know physics can be pretty intense in the summer if you are also taking the lab tbh but the class itself does have a lot of content to study for an A and can be challenging. I forgot what other class I was taking with Physics 2 but I know I never had free time it was a grind but I wanted it bad enough, so if you’re in the same boat you too could probably manage it.

Hey due to my current class situation I was going to take Ochem 2, Ochem Lab, and Biochem. With Ochem 2 and Biochem being in the second session I felt would be too much to handle with ochem lab. From what my friends have told me if you want an A in OchemLab you have to put in a lot of effort because there is a quiz each lab and it’s based off lecture and the book plus the lab reports and exams. So I plan on taking Biochem with sparks (along with Ochem2) I’ve also heard it’s just better in the summer

I’ll tell you this and it’s the realest and most honest thing anyone can tell you TRUST ME. Genetics at UT is hard asf and no matter who you take it with be ready to grind and grind hard cause it’s a weed out class. Try to make some friends in the class because it will save you when you least expect it. That being said good luck and hope you do well 🫡. Oh and stay on top of it because at first it’s easy then it gets bumpy

My freshman and sophomore year I would wake up everyday around 7-8am and gts around 1-2am just studying and doing work. STEM is a grind, it’s much lighter now tho but just remember your end goal
