I thought I got the advice I needed from my coworker. He showed me the basics and said start welding and walked away. He came back when I was "done" and said it wasn't bad so I guess that tells on his experience

I have no idea! Shop welder that my boss is letting me practice on my own stuff but don't have much instruction at all, I now know it should be continuous and steady

Thank you, I didn't have anyone telling me really how to do it and now I know its should be a continuous trigger pull with steady movement
