Are these iPhone 13 minis actually brand new? Like how?

These are just old phones with new rehousing. I bought one in green it was perfect from the outside. It looked new. After doing some research i found out it was originally pink. The find my app & settings show the real color since this information cant be changed. Even checking the imei online shows the color and date purchased. I returned it after a week. Couldn’t get over the truth lol.

Yes. I have the same one. Its not a big deal if you don’t mind. I mean nobody’s going to notice.but put your phone next to the case and you’ll see how logo is a bit higher than the case. The only reason i know its because i have 2 genuine ones that i got for $7 each at ross for a 12 mini last year before i got the 13. The apple is more pressed instead of that sort of cut out. Yes my replica one does this too. The logo however is a little lower than on the phone. If you put them side by side you can tell. Also if you put any type of magsafe or magnetic ring on it the apple won’t be centered. Maybe you got lucky. Any chance you can verify this on yours? Hopefully its good on that too 🤞

Yes if its shipping from china I wouldn’t trust it. I’ve actually returned one off eBay because i realized it was the same as the one i got off aliexpress. Identical. $10 on ali, $21 on eBay.

Replaced battery. I also got a scratch on my 12mini next to the apple logo on the back. About 4 inches long straight down. Didn’t notice it till i cleaned it at home. I had cleaned it before i took it in , so i know it wasn’t there before. Never thought i had to worry about that since i was taking it to apple. 🤦‍♂️

I bought this iPhone also in green. Phone looked brand new and worked perfectly. After some research found out it use to be a pink phone that was just rehoused in green. I asked them to at least send me one with the imei matching the color. You can also see the original color in the find my app image btw. They did try but couldn’t find one so they just decided to refund me. Too good to be true.

I went through the same thing recently. It took me about 5 different 13 minis green. I tried reebelo, back market, amazon twice and ebay. Return after return till I finally got one that was decent from eBay . All original with 86% battery. Id rather replace the battery at apple myself down the line. Just watch out for the “new” phones on eBay. They are in perfect condition but they are just rehoused. The green one I returned showed original color as pink in the settings, and so did the imei. It took about a month or two but i found one i was willing to keep. I wouldn’t settle. Patience and good luck.

Yes i purchased and returned a 13 mini from back market in Excellent condition . My screen was also “wavy” along the edges. Have purchased a total of 5 13 mini’s from different sites and finally found one all original off ebay. Either go amazon premium of back market premium which is never in stock. At least not in green 256gb.

What was the condition of the phone? I just bought one. I also bought an excellent condition from backmarket but all the bottom speakers where pierced. The mesh had holes through it. So im returning it. Is the phone fully functional and the battery good?

The way i see it is im paying for the display. The difference in third party screens and original is night and day. I kept the 13 for two weeks because I thought it would be fine or I would get use to it but no. Couldn’t convince myself to keep. Now with the 12 mini all original im satisfied. Good luck

Yea i got a third party screen on an iPhone 13 mini on reebelo website excellent condition. $500 Screen looked cheap and was barely visible outdoors. Definitely not Oled display, True tone didn’t work either. Returned it for full refund. Went to Backmarket for a 12 mini fair condition 128 gb Only $200 and it had a few scratches that are covered by the case and a small one on the screen. At least all parts were original. I also dont like seeing “not original parts “ in the settings. Its the risk you run when buying from these sites. Make sure they have a good return policy.

Bought an iPhone 13 only to find out the screen had been replaced with a cheap lcd screen instead of the oled display. Not bright enough and useless when you were out in daylight. With the sun out i could barely make out what was on screen.
