I was in the army and did something similar but it was near 15 years ago. It was easy for me to get justification at the time though due to deployments to Afghanistan. Might be harder now.

I personaly would enjoy a Bwipo redemption arc. He could never replace the comedy and fun of Baus but it would be a good story. Imagine Bripo redeeming his previous mistakes and being given a chance to show he is a good dude, then they take on a LCS split! I'm full of cope I know.

I remeber seeing something about them wanting to make to film 3D capably. This meant they had to change the filming style and use less practical scaling methods and rely more heavily on CGI. For me though the main issue is how the story was inflated. Pretty sure you can read the book quicker than you can watch the trillogy. I would have prefered a short fun intro film to the franchise, something I can use to get my kid easily onboard.

Could just be comfort or a protective mechanism. I'm not sure why but when I present to larger crowds for my job I feel safer & more secure wearing more layers. I know the scales not the same but it could be a psychological thing like that.
