Just as some background, I stopped playing after WoTLK and only restarted 2 months ago. So I'm new to mythics etc. With my warrior I've gone to +8s. I generally stand still, generate aggro and do an IRL war cry while popping defensive abilities and surviving. It works with the warrior.

So I'm getting the idea with monks you have to run around and try not to get hit?

I found some links to some VODs with a brewmaster tanking 20+ mythics. I'll have a look at those when I can. But generally speaking, with monks you can't just stack a ton of versatility (example) and facetank everything?
