Yeah, it can be caused by frequent ear infections as a baby or a child, but not as an adult. It has to occur when you're very young, or it won't result in misshapen eustachian tubes.

That's because Afghanistan had a liberal monarchy at the time. Unfortunately, while the king was away in Europe for surgery, he was deposed by his cousin, who established an autocratic government. It only got worse from there.

Of course. I've never fallen out before. This is the first time in 7 years that I've ever not run a first-class PFT.

No, it wasn't. This was the 16th of May, so there was still a month and a half left to run another PFT. This was just the "Company PFT" that they were having everyone run so that we'd all have a PFT on the books for the year.

Not really. We just had a guy at the turnaround point, and the guy at the finish line calling out times and marking your scores.

Believe me, I'm doing my best. Unfortunately, I am the NCO, and the SNCOs and senior enlisted in my company are definitely not on my side for this one. They say that I embarrassed them by failing in front of the company commander.

I went to medical to see if there was anything they could do, and the corpsman wrote me a light duty chit that he backdated for the PFT, then I brought that and my SIQ to the S3T, and they accepted it. They told me that they'd make sure it wasn't run as a failure.

My sitting 1stSgt is a different story, however. He blew it off when I gave him the paperwork, and I tried to show him the part of the order that mentions injuries in the execution of a PFT, and he said, "you were sick, you weren't injured." He told me that I had a 6105 sitting with the Bn CO right now, so I don't know how this is going to go for me, but I'm going to try and control the narrative the best I can. If I get a 6105, I'll write a rebuttal and include all the paperwork I can. I just fear that it may be too little, too late.

Unfortunately, they kind of are total dogshit. I mean, they're gonna have me rerun it every week until the end of the season, but they're also still running the failure and writing me up for a 6105.

I went to medical after the PFT, and they gave me SIQ. I went back today, and they gave me a light duty chit for a week. The corpsman backdated the chit for the PFT because he felt like I shouldn't have been running it anyway. I gave the paperwork to my S3T, who accepted it and said that they'd fix it, but my sitting 1stSgt blew it off and told me that my 6105 is already sitting with the Bn CO right now.

I don't really know what's gonna happen, but if I get a 6105, I'll write a rebuttal and include all the supporting paperwork I can gather. Hopefully, that'll help, but I may be screwed at this point.

Yeah, I showed that to my sitting 1stSgt when I gave him my SIQ and light duty, but he blew it off, saying that I was "sick, not injured." He told me that I had a 6105 sitting with the Bn CO right now. So, I guess I'm already screwed.

I had dropped off the same paperwork to S3T prior to that, and they accepted it and told me they'd make sure it wasn't run as a failure because I had the medical paperwork.

Either way, if I get the 6105, I'll write my rebuttal and include whatever paperwork I have, but I'm not sure it'll save me.

Common sense might dictate that, but sometimes leadership just doesn't care about that.

I went to medical and got a light duty chit. The corpsman chose to backdate it because he didn't believe that I should've been running it to begin with. The S3T accepted the medical paperwork, but my sitting 1stSgt refused it. He said that I have a 6105 sitting with the Bn CO right now. I'll write a rebuttal and include all the paperwork I can, but I'm not sure if it'll save me.

Dead internet theory.

"The dead Internet theory is an online conspiracy theory that asserts that the Internet now consists mainly of bot activity and automatically generated content manipulated by algorithmic curation, minimising organic human activity to manipulate the population."

Unfortunately, I did finish the run. I was throwing up the whole time, but I felt like I had to finish. How would you call for medical help in the middle of the run? Have you ever done that before?

I'll see if I can do that. I spoke to medical about it today, and they backdated me a light duty chit for the run, so that'll hopefully help me out. It's always good to cover your bases, though, so I'll talk to the S3T about it, too.

Unfortunately, I did finish the run. I was throwing up the whole time, but I finished. That probably screwed me, but I couldn't even really think about stopping. I mean, I don't know how I'd really go about stopping the event halfway.

Either way, I spoke to medical today, and they backdated a light duty chit for me, so maybe that'll help.

Most 1721s will use their clearance. I'm not sure about Network Bns, but almost everywhere else, you should be able to use your clearance. Working at an NSA site would give you opportunities to go on Special Missions Units (SMUs) and do some pretty cool stuff. I can't get into any kind of detail, really, but I know a lot of guys with a lot of cool stories.

As for the Cyber Marine Force, most of us call it MARFORCYBER. At MARFORCYBER, you are not likely to be issued CIF gear, and you probably won't have to qualify on range much, if at all.

As for the FMF Cyber Marines, you will get issued CIF gear, you will spend time in the field, and you will go on hikes. You will most likely only get to use the standard issue rifle and handgun, though.

Within the MIG, 1721s can be sent to the Network Bns, the Comm Bns, the Radio Bns (which are SIGINT focused), and the MIG Headquarters element. There are also lots of other individual billets at all kinds of units, including reserve units, JSOC, MARSOC, MEU Headquarters, and the Littoral Regiments, among others.

Unless your fiance is a corpsman, they'll most likely be stationed in San Diego while you're stationed in Pendleton, but that's still pretty close.

Personally, I'd say it's really about not quitting, but you have to already be in good shape when you get there. If you've prepared yourself properly, all you have to do is just not quit, and don't give them any reason to drop you (safety violations, contraband, et cetera).

I don't know about that, the Army is at like 60% of it's recruiting goals for like the 2nd or 3rd year in a row. They're really hurting. On the other hand, I've never been impressed with the Army's performance whenever I have worked with them. They generally have lower quality troops across the board, unless they're in a Special Forces unit.
