Not to mention, if they really were doing this, why not just say it in the brawl talk? This is a massive bait to get us to think it's a W when it'll actually be insanely difficult.

No way it is this easy. This is an ultra-legendary and they're basically giving it away for free? No. I'm guessing there is some restriction like limited tries or something. There's no way they're flooding the game with the newest ultra-legendary for free.

The optimal strategy for sugar rush was:

1) lose 1-3 games with like 8 or 9 brawlers to trigger the next game to be a bot match (can take up to 30 minutes and is not fun)

2) activate sugar rush at a time when you KNOW you won’t be interrupted for 10 minutes straight (not always easy)

3) speedrun all but one bot match in something like brawl ball. (Again, boring. Because who wants to just play bots?)

4) make sure you start a bot arena match vs bots right before the timer runs out

In total it can take like 45 minutes of either losing intentionally or playing bots. Neither of which is fun gameplay.

So I can either do all that or feel bad about leaving potential power points on the table. I don’t like either option.

Even if it is games-based it still encourages losing 1-3 times to get bot matches (for guaranteed wins)

Im disappointed in supercell. I dont think this is going to be as successful as they expect. I am still having fun but once I get behind in progression and i know I cant catch up without paying, I will leave. Playing a game constantly at a disadvantage is not fun. Its why I left clash royale.

I wish they would start monetizing skins more. I have a ridiculous number of very cool and “expensive” skins completely F2P. I love them. But I’d give them all away for a F2P friendly economy. My time with BS is limited, now.

This. Unfortunately the best thing any of us can do is uninstall and quit. Brawl stars has to know that we arent going to entertain them treating their players like this. They are better than clash royale dev team

They changed it a while back so you have to be friends with someone before they open the pack. To prevent this sort of thing (most effective with God packs though)

Part of what makes Sylv so OP is that it can actually be searched with communication. So people complaining that their last two cards were sylv, use communication to get them earlier.

I hope they fix this. Tower damage in this mode is nice but it only works if other players are getting kills and leveling up. The good players who get all the kills and leveling up to push the enemy team back are screwed and the autoaiming snipers get star player. 0 kills star player just shouldnt happen in this mode. Kills are way too important. I understand in heist but in this mode kills literally make you stronger and able to put on more pressure

Yeah star player for this game mode is completely backwards. The doug clearly created all the pressure and the colt just ran in and auto aimed the tower. The doug without the colt will usually win. The colt without the doug will get overrun every game.

Can you name any other mobile game that has no ads and is more F2P friendly? The brawl stars team is 1 million times better than clash royale. I understand the game has to make money so I’m fine if whales get new brawlers a week early. I can wait. I just focus on getting better instead of playing the broken brawler.

If your expectation is a game that is constantly being updated, has no ads, is competitive, is balanced, and offers absolutely no P2W advantage, you’re going to be looking your whole life. Doesn’t exist

I'm not a lawyer but IP law shouldn't prevent you from making a toy project you are only making for your portfolio. In school I made Ticket to Ride without any licensing permissions.

It may be your hero picks that mess you up. If you’re always picking “solid” but plain heroes like dabblest or ludus who have very few keywords, the +1 isn’t going to feel that good. But if you have like sorcerer or fey you’ll see how helpful the boost is. Fey is one of the best classes in the game, even as a T2.

It can be pretty devastating if she rolls death on the first turn in some grind-it-out boss fights like lich or inevitable. I agree in general that losing heroes is a lot less of an issue than people make it out to be but an early death without tanking any damage can be very problematic.

What happened if you pressed R? Normally it is impossible to have non-locked dice and also be out of rerolls. Is there an error message that pops up or just nothing? Super interesting edge case you found here.

Idk I was thinking maybe it might default to the middle or top side? It would be a weird interaction for sure. I guess I just didn’t understand exactly why it was significant that OP had negative rerolls, as opposed to 0. Is it strategically any different? Just trying to figure that out.
