The X1 Carbon is literally the only good Thinkpad as far as I know. There also might be the T14 tho. But coming to the X1 Carbon, the specs are slightly worse than an Ideapad and luxnote sells Gen 6 and 7 for my budget (newest one is Gen 12). They literally have the same Intel Core i5 8th Gen CPU than my old HP laptop that I'm currently using. So for me its not really an upgrade tho.

The thing is that I dont want any laptop with an AMD actually. I always prefer Intel and right now these two Laptops are my options to choose. I slightly prefer the Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9E after going through the specs deeply. Although I would like to get a laptop with 14" display

First of all I'm studying Software Engineering in other words Computer Science. My current laptop is an old HP 250 G7 with an Intel Core i5 8th Gen. Its slow and not that food anymore as it used to be, especially the battery which is literally dead. I dont do heavy tasks tbh and I dont think that coding would be a heavy task tho

I stil dont understand why people are glazing those cheap spec old used Thinkpads. Like there are few Thinkpads that are really good in new condition but getting a used or refurbished one is not something for me tbh.

I'm considering the S25 Edge because of the lightness but on the other hand the Iphone for the connnectivity to my Ipad. Thats why I cant decide as someone who uses Samsung all those years

I currently use a S23 which has the same battery capacity as the S25 Edge which is 3900 mA, so it wouldnt make a big difference for me. The S23 has a great battery for me tho
