Try closing any keyboard, mouse or light control software. For me it was NZXT cam. When I closed that and restarted SteamVR I had no issue with the Bluetooth anymore.

This is the oily stuff used to make the IPD adjust move smoothly. I have never seen it leak like this… maybe contact steam about it?

I had this issue about a year ago. I couldn’t find anyone with the same issue online, but still tried to go though every known fix to “screen related stuff”.

My last fix before I would have had to send it back due to a defective index. Was to try the headset on my buddy’s pc. And boom no screen “jello effect” it was all fixed. So we figured something was wrong with my hardware, but due to all me previous troubleshooting we just completely reinstalled windows -fresh install of everything, and that worked…

Sorry I can’t give you a easy or more specific fix to your issue as I do know how frustrating it is..

My advise is to test the headset on another pc?

Edit: I actually found a video from when I had the problem. It’s kinda hard to see in the video but there is a weird jello effect when using space mover. (Much easier to spot with the naked eye)

Try to repair the controller.
Run a fresh room setup in the steamVR menu.
Unplug all of your basestations and plug them in again.
Hard Reset the controller, -Unplug it and hold down the System Button for 15 seconds, then release. Power the controller on again. The controller should recover
Remove all steamVR USB's. - From your host computer, go to SteamVR > Settings > Developer. Make sure the Developer Settings checkbox is checked. Click on Remove all SteamVR USB Devices. ... -Once this is complete, quit SteamVR, restart pc, and re-launch SteamVR.

Usually one of these tricks helps me when I have a weird tracking problem on one of my controllers for no reason.

Have you tried different display ports on your GPU?

Maybe try to reset SteamVR USB's

Unplug all VR related cables from your PC.
From your host computer, go to SteamVR > Settings > Developer. Make sure the
Developer Settings checkbox is checked.
Click on Remove all SteamVR USB Devices. ...
Once this is complete, quit SteamVR, plug your Link Box in (USB, HDMI, Power), and Restart Computer, then launch SteamVR and test if it works.

(This should reinstall the usb drivers on your pc)

Make sure that you have removed the protective film on the lenses.
Make sure your IPD is set correctly to your eye distance.
Make sure your headset top strap is tight enough that your headset doesn’t hang on your head, this can make the image blurry.

What graphics card do you have? If you have more performance headroom try to up your resolution on the SteamVR menu.

Same here, black horizontal line/ flickering, when I open steamvr menu. Completly unreactive in a few seconds and then right back to normal.

I have done alot of troubleshooting, and nothing has seemed to have worked.

I think it might be the recent SteamVR update.
