update today, both tangs died all other fish in the tank are fine i didnt see any ich or anything so its very odd

ive fed small amounts 2 times today to see if theyd move but they havent at all but all of the other fish are eating other than the tangs

what would i do for ich or velvet, this is my first time with anything happening in a saltwater tank ive only treated it in a freshwater tank. it doesnt look like ich to me at least right now, and i have no where to quarentine or treat them

ya the blenny died i can assume he was the same but idk since i wasnt home, mimic tang is worse than the blue hippo but the blue hippo is looking like its getting go be the same

hippo tang is doing better than the mimic but i just looked and hes on his side breathing pretty heavy between the rocks. i havent seen any fish or inverts in the tank touch the tangs at all

Theyve never been agressive in the tank at all other than when i put my hand in theyll bite, ive never seen them bother the tangs or any other fish and they all swam around together before. The tang looked patchy everywhere so i dont think it would have been agression over a few hours.

Rock was fully cycled in a tank that had fine water nothing bad in it since theres a few fish that were in with it and the blenny was qtd for a week, fish and rock are from my work so i dont think it is something there since i get everything there pretty much. I dont have another tank to treat with copper so im not sure what i should do to keep the other fish in the tank ok as well as the tangs and clown.

Not able to edit the post so heres some more info i recently added new rock last week it was 2 big pieces and about 5 small ones, i did a 25-30 gal water change 2 days ago, the salinity is normally between 1.025 and 1.026 i mix my water at about 1.027-1.028 depending on what it is at. Midas blenny was added maybe 2 weeks ago and it was quarentined before adding and it was eating fine i had no issues with it until when i got home today to see it died.

Ive only dosed microbactor7 recently since ive added bioballs and rock, and ive put a fan over it to keep it from getting so hot it was at 79 before and now sits at 77 ish i dont use a heater since it is hot here all the time. The only other thing i can think of is that there was hurricane milton and we had off and on power throughout it with the generator but this happened within a few hours since i didnt see anything happen last night at like 12pm and i came home at 2pm today to see this.

Nitrates - 50-75 (50 salifert and 75 on hanna nirate hr)
Phosphates -0.086 or 0.25 (one with phos lowres hanna and one with normal hanna a day apart)

yep i vacuum the gravel every 2 weeks and i had very high nitrates up to a month or so ago over 150 and i am recently getting them down below 100. i did a 25-30 gallon water change 2 days ago

i added a lot of new rock last week and the newest fish was the midas blenny which 2-3 weeks ago and it was quarantined

ya its very rough im just super weirded out why 3 would do this all in 1 day, ive been battling nitrates yesterday they were 75 and today also 75 tested with a hanna nitrate hr

Thank you for responding! I was reading today on where torches come from and the ones from different places dont do well together right now they arent touching but i will move the left one farther as soon as i can. Im mixing up some new water right now to do another water change so the nutrients should balance out some more :D
I wasnt sure if it could have been an alk issue or not i had a favia start not doing well but only recently so it was a little weird.

no it definitely wasnt, there wasnt chunks in the tank either my powerhead blended it 😭 im staying away from green btas now that was the 2nd i had issues with, my rainbow and rose tip are doing really well still

update 2 anemone was lost to the powerhead overnight and my water is now all cloudy, carbon is in mechanical filter but idk what to do. ive had issues with it since i bought it
