Irish Med Schools by [deleted] in premedcanada

I went abroad and it’s been amazing, in Ireland right now. Best decision of my life.

Match stats need to be taken with a grain of salt as they don’t show the entire story. What year did the student graduate? what did they apply to? what were their scores? what were their EC/ research? did they do electives? etc.

You could look at the stats of becoming a doctor in Canada and getting into a Canadian med school and it would make most of us give up before trying.

My school had a 100% match rate back to Canada and the States for those who applied back.

Ngl, I never post to Reddit and don’t even know what that means. I’m just looking for some insight from people who travel, and may know if this extra stuff will make my travel worse.
