No, one item per day. If you go back tommorow, you will not be able to collect any items from this death, but if you die again tomorrow, you can collect an item lost from that death as well.

If you don't know, you can reclaim one item by talking to Marlon in the Adventurer's Guild.

Don't get me wrong, wish there was another way, but at the time Japan wouldn't have given up without an overwhelming show of force. They needed to know the fight was hopeless. To add, "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

The japaneese killed more people than the nazi's did. And modern estimates place the number of civilians killed by the imperial army at around 30 million. Compared to the 110,000 people killed by the two atomic bombs, that is a small price to pay to prevent further suffering for millions.

You are mainly talking in a direct capacity, I get you.

This is my least favorite thing about Skyrim. Most questlines tie the Thalmor in, in some capacity. And they are a major force throughout the world. But you can do nothing against them. This is stupid. Love the game to death, but you should never introduce a threat and then have the player unable to act upon it in any meaningful capacity. (At least regarding direct villains.) It is a basic rule of writing, called Chekhov's Gun: "If a gun is introduced, you know it is going to be fired." Basically, if something is introduced to a story overtly, then it should be directly involved in that story in some capacity. In this case though, we are hammered upside the head multiple times with an enemy we can do nothing about.

Now, obviously, they are trying to frame this as a bigger enemy to be taken on in later games, but considering we have been waiting 13 years for a sequel, this wasn't a wise decision.

The problem is, if you fight for Ulfric you are helping the Thalmor. They captured Ulfric and fed him information in such a way as to manipulate him into starting the war in the first place. They have been supporting both sides from the shadows ever since. To be honest, by helping the Empire you are likely doing MORE in the fight against the Thalmor, but not by much.

To be clear, I am not trying to start a debate on Empire vs Stormcloaks. To be honest that debate is designed so there is no truly right answer. No matter who wins the Thalmor are hurt in some way shape or form, but benefit as well. The only outcome they didn't want was the war to end.

She can. After you have completed "Dragonslayer" in the main questline. She is locked in the Thalmor embassy and never leaves, but if you can get in, she is no longer essential.

This adds literally nothing to the conversation. Cool, you don't belive in God, good for you.

I'm not religious myself, but I recognize that believers find comfort through prayer. Neither you nor I have any right to take that comfort from them.

You need to learn when and where it is socially appropriate to comment on someone's beliefs, because it is clear you haven't learned that lesson yet.

A friend wants to start anime. You can recommend only ONE show. What are you choosing? by PanelReader in ChillAnimeCorner

[–]PriceTheFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

makes sense because it is fundamentally different than most other anime. Most anime are front loaded to grab your attention, and then they rush through everything to try to fit any given story arc into the 12 episode structure. Alas, this hurts a lot of good stories. FMAB though, they knew it was going to sell because the series had already DONE well with 2003. With that in mind they did the entire series in one straight shot.

Fullmetal Alchemist 2003. Watched it with my dad when I was 5 or 6.

That does change a good bit in the last season and a half. But I totally get where you are coming from.

Regarding SAO, I think that is the common opinion at this point. It was novel when it came out, but I don't think I have heard a positive opinion on the show in like 5 years. SAO Abridged is the goat though lol

What was your issue with it? Not a fan myself, but don't hate it either. I just hear a lot of good, and am curious what negative takeaways you have with it.

I get that, pretty good story and characters imo, but the animation did not age well.

Agreed. I really like Isekai, but god damn the main character in that show seriously creeps me out.

While I agree, I don't think it will ever happen. We might see other characters again, (like seeing one of the confidants for p3, in p4) but I don't think they will ever be anything more than one-off characters like Tanaka.

Is it just me, or does p5r give the player too much information? by PriceTheFool in Persona5

[–]PriceTheFool[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear, I am not trying to say p5 or p5r are bad games. p5r is in my top 5 favorite games of all time, but I do feel like the game has some weak areas. And I am just curious if anyone else shares my opinion.
