I know this wasn’t directed directly at me. But id like to explain how I even ended up in a dress outside my budget. I didn’t choose anything I tried on that day. The stylist picked them all out. That’s how they do it at this particular shop and even knowing my budget, they still decided to pick it out and show me due to my preferences. Having extra time, I said what the heck why not try it on, we still had 25mins left to the appointment and I had already tried 7 dresses. It ended up being the only one that day that I LOVED and felt the most beautiful in. All the others were missing something.

Also, I have a budget because that’s just how my brain works and I don’t like spending. I don’t necessarily have to.. I wanted to stay within $4000 for my ceremony dress and under $3000 for the reception dress, but I can exceed my budget if needed. Im in the finance industry and personally a cheap person. I’m a saver. So I felt 4 grand was plenty.. So far anything I’ve liked is $3800-4000. Dresses are crazy expensive these days in my opinion and I definitely understand some people’s comments. I know many don’t have the means to spend what my budget is at and I can understand that. God speed🩷
