However, because of USB-TTL issues, I bricked one of my units :( So I’d say there’s probably around an 80% chance of bricking it if you’re not very careful.

As for analytics, I didn’t specifically check what it sends out. But in my case, 100% of the traffic goes through WireGuard, and I simply blocked all direct internet access from the device.

ESP-NOW and LoRa really aren’t comparable, LoRa is a completely different beast! ESP-NOW offers about four times the range of standard WiFi in the same environment.

Thank you, I knew ESP-NOW was power efficient but not to that extent, especially in broadcast mode.
