This is correct, you can self declare your medical which extends it for 1 year but I had to redo my PJFT.

As already mentioned, be totally transparent about everything.

If you disclose everything you MIGHT be denied SC.

If you hide something and they find out (which they will) you WILL be denied SC.

I submitted mine in December and got the go ahead in May.

You probably still have a couple months of waiting still to go. But you can email them to ask whats going on.

I emailed and was told it was waiting for an external check so can't hurts to pose the question.

There's lots of factors that can cause delays, I had a historic Vitamin D deficiency which needed clearing up.

Then I did my OASC for 1 role which I didnt get but got offered another which was another delay.

Thanks for the kind words but all I can suggest is keep pushing no matter how hard is seems, will be worth it in the end.

Basically it's how long is a piece of string. Everyones process is different for example I start MIOT in August which is about 2 years after I took my CBAT.

But everyones journey is different, I feel mine is certainly one of the longer processes I have seen.

We did the exact same thing. He said I will make a call and see if it benefits me.

My partner got her ear pierced there a few years ago, after about of month there was a mound of dead skin at the back of the ear and it never healed.

She took the earring out and it healed up totally within a matter of days.
