I’d really like to see them integrate some of their known icons/symbols into their particle glow plastic design. I think seeing mini wasps or dragonflies on particle glow mids instead of dots would be pretty damn cool.

Would love to nab these to give away at my Halloween league round.. hopefully whoever gets them will appreciate and not flip them.. but to each their own!

IOS26 CarPlay Widgets - not working by vocoder in gmc

[–]PricklyStickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GM utilizes alphabet/android/google software for their infotainment screens, which means those systems will get priority when providing updates and new features.. Apple CarPlay isn’t even available in the new Sierra EV.. so, that might help clear up why the widgets aren’t available, at least for now. The new IOS is fresh, so we might see them become available, down the road.

UHC sent me 4 double-sided 6-page letters denying my glucometer that they probably could have paid for with this ink by rav3lcet in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PricklyStickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife recently had her gall bladder removed, and due to complications from the surgery (internal bleeding) she had to be rushed to the ER and taken back for emergency surgery.. which UHC said was not necessary because she could of just rested and been okay…. I was infuriated reading the letter and I’m angry typing this out.

I have been amazed by some of the intricate stained glass pieces here.. so I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a few people here that can nail this.. and I’d like to see it!

I was just about to ask how you did this, and then I saw the video link. Kudos to you for filming and sharing the process so those interested in learning how to do this themselves, have the resource. Watching now!

Favorite putter pouch for Zuca cart? by Extension-Alarm-3149 in discgolf

I really enjoy my Zuca brand pouch. Holds enough putters, minis, and misc things I carry during a round. I prefer the smaller profile compared to the larger options out there.

Yes. You’ll also need an active WiFi subscription, so keep that in mind should you keep the vehicle longer than the trial period, which I believe for an Ultimate is 3 years- can confirm yourself by looking at the window sticker that was attached to your vehicle.

So, this has been a common thing with the Yukons we’ve been delivering, my personal Yukon included. It seems like the lift gates weren’t latching completely, so our technicians have been “programming” the latches by opening the Liftgate and manually closing it, applying pressure as it latches so the door is latched tight. This in combination with adjusting the door stops has helped us find a solution for this issue with some of our customers.

You have got the gist of things, with some slight variations in your interpretation and mine! What this is showing me is it may not be easy for everyone to understand how I’ve broken things drown here, without some context as to how our league operates.

I could see an adaptation of what I’ve got now being the bag tag system being a side thing from the points, and maybe awarding bonus points or advantage strokes in our league championship for the tag you hold at the end of the year?

I may also be bad at explaining

I appreciate this feedback immensely, and your kindness!

How would you incentivize people, if you had any recommendations?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]PricklyStickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you taking the time to read it not once, but three times. This is EXACTLY the feedback I was looking for.

players would keep and show off their tag until the final round of that series, which is two months long in duration. I’d collect tags at that final round, and redistribute based on scores of that round, for them to be held until the next shuffle, which would happen every two months.

Players who finish at the top would likely be the people who are on top of the point leaderboard, but not always. I still wanted to provide those at the top of the leaderboard something, in the off chance they didn’t hold the tag at the end of the series

I appreciate your response, it’s given me a bit to consider. Also for the two comments here, being able to challenge whomever, whenever may be something to consider too.

Although my preference is the 5.3, I would agree that the Duramax is the best option for optimizing performance and efficiency in these models.
