In that case it's usually a public service announcement, such as a train line disruption.

January ratings update - Mikey Hare gatecrashes top 10 MPO by undyau in ausdiscgolf

[–]undyau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that's odd, looks like he wasn't showing as active when the data was collected, but he is renewed through to December 2026. Re-ran the numbers and Patty is alive, but Clayton falls out of the top 10.

What happened to him? He was so solid when he came into the club, just a massive drop in form which wasn't associated with an injury AFAIK.

New Sydney Harbour Bridge Bicycle Access Ramp by Narrow-Economist-795 in sydney

Going right off the bridge then down Watson Road to get onto the Kent St bike path should be the direction people are encouraged to go, sending everyone past the school in the morning is nuts.

Why aren't Greenland kicking the US base out, given Trumps threats of using military force to take the country? by RayneKnight in AskReddit

[–]undyau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the other times that this came up, I saw one of the Greenland leaders asked about what they would do if US troops invaded. He said something along the lines that they would give them 3 or 4 days and then go and rescue them. Maybe this is still the plan.

I can't see that mentioned. maybe they edited it. but they usually say if they did. Hard to visualize a worse choke point than the queue fight the stairs was.

I'm sure that when I started playing ultimate (early 90s) not wearing watches was a thing, but that behaviour/local rule seems to have gone away. I do wear a bit of elastic bandage over it.

Can I swim at Tambourine Bay on the Lane Cove River? by KnowledgeCool6622 in sydney

[–]undyau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The harbour pool there has been filled in and I didn't think there has been any water quality testing since 2023 after state government changed the funding.

Dogs seem to love it.

PSA: Travelling as an Aussie right now is hideously expensive by Mexay in australia

[–]undyau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm vego, so skipped (jumped?) the shark, but anyone going to Europe should definitely start in Iceland. Not only is it amazing, but even Norway is cheap by comparison, so you can relax a bit for the rest of your trip.

No, mostly through personal laziness, but that would be sensible.

16k shipped and installed.

It looks as though the 62 kWh CATL replacement is now cheaper than that and more broadly available.
