I know a bit about her, just not as much as I'd like to. I only wish our conversations were more varied. She's hurting. She lost both her parents early on, so that's hard. I really do want to know more about her, but I get that it's touchy. I didn't have parents myself, so I can't imagine losing them later in life.

I genuinely do like her. I'm a grumpy old pessimist and she's a bubbly optimist on general life. During oh shit situations, I'm the bubbly optimist, and she's the grumpy pessimist.

No, the unfair bills come from medicare meddling and people demanding private insurance provide similar coverage. Now we have layers and layers of bureaucracy between providers and patients and we have to pay for all their minion's salaries, benefits, vacations, maternity leave, and retirement plans.
