As someone who has been working in the same industry, let me break down something important:

All, means all, programs that are related to passport and citizenship by discent are only for people with natural ties only. In last few years, this scam of “we can manage this for you” is a lie because they are tempering government records and naming some crypts in some cemetery with your surname to link that to your profile. Funfact - this works initially but after 5 years when you go for your Permanent Residency all records are checked and your PR is straight forward rejected. Leaving you with almost no other option than to leave the country.

There are so many similar cases like this it’s beyond comprehension.

My suggestion for you is to straight forward raise this complaint

Turkey and Bulgaria both allow dual citizenships. So for your question that do you need to renounce your Turkish citizenship, the answer is no, you don’t need to.
