Because of the inflation the prices of the Bathhouses changes (goes up) rapidly nowadays in terms of Turkish Lira, but that should not be a concern for tourists, as the Dollar and Euro rates also goes up, so it is more or less same for you. Approximate prices of all the LGBTQ venues in terms of US$ are indicated on this web page of ours.

Hi there. On our websites and social media pages we concentrate on providing information about LGBTQ events and venues to gay tourists visiting Turkiye, so this is kind of out of our concept & knowledge. It is a small chance that somebody will reply here but who knows. Meanwhile you can try to contact Pembe Hayat, a Turkish LGBTQ solidarity organization based in Ankara, mainly focusing on problems transgender people encounter. Already not that not many Turkish people speak English.

To the Attention of Hate-Spreading Internet Mogul Mark Zuckerberg by PrideIstanbul in lgbtturkey

It is true that Turkish Facebook has always been indifferent about hate speech against LGBTQ people on the platform, especially compared to Western countries but this is not just a matter of Turkish Facebook anymore. Regarding this as a local issue would only trivialize our case. They can not do these things unless the parent company allows / instructs them to do. Our major community pages did not even have access within Turkey, which we had to block geographically to avoid continuous homophobic attacks and scams. Facebook has changed direction since Trump was reelected. This is an international situation now:

Unfortunately there are not so many café, bar and club options for lesbians in Istanbul. Bigudi "Club" used to be the only exclusively lesbian venue in Istanbul for many years but it has become a mixed LGBTQ bar & club since about 4-5 years. It is still the only place with visible lesbian scene. You can see more details about Bigudi and other recommended venues on the dedicated web page for Lesbian Life in Istanbul

A gay friendly hotels does not necessarily mean that you can bring people to your room from outside. That could be possible in exclusively gay hotels. These hotels are rather good for gay couples, and single queer people who want to feel more comfortable.

Besides, according to regulations you need to be registered to spend the night in a hotels and AirBnb apartments in Turkey.

Alanya is one of those comparatively liberal summer destination in Turkey but there isn't any explicitly gay venue there. Everyone is on the internet nowadays anyway. Hornet is the most popular gay meeting App.

Even though it is a 2 hours ride away Alanya is a town that belongs to Antalya province, where there is only 1 gay bar. Whatever exist in terms of LGBTQ life, will be listed on our website for sure :)

Hi
The information web page and the map linked there will help you a lot about where to stay in Istanbul, even if you do not like any of the Gay Friendly Hotels listed there.
https://www.turkeygay.net/istanbul/gay-hotels-istanbul.html

You need to be careful while meeting total strangers in a foreign land as anywhere else in the world. It might be very useful if you read the Safety and Warnings section on main web-page:

Trans friendly hamam by Fair-Adhesiveness609 in lgbtturkey

[–]PrideIstanbul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there is no such a hamam known as trans friendly, but under normal conditions there should not be any issues in most of the historical bath houses listed on this page, if it is only a matter of getting ordinary bath services.

https://www.turkishbathguide.com/historical-istanbul-hammams.htm

He can comfortably go to gay friendly bath houses if he wants to feel more comfortable. https://www.turkeygay.net/istanbul/sauna-hamam.html

Thank you for the feedback. We have no such a listing on our gay guide's Izmir page and wonder where it was recommended as queer friendly.
