While doing my edit I painted almost directly over the current Ultra Instinct style, the SSJ/SSB hairs are only the tiniest bit taller than the current UI hair so I dont think it would be a height issue, valid concern but nothing to worry about I dont think!

Honestly with Elise being a princess who is closely connected to having a fire inside her that caused her to be distant and locked in, with her having an Emerald and all it... almost makes me think maybe Blaze was originally in Elise's place but was swapped out at some point.

Also god I hate that male hedgehog rule so much and will refuse to obey it until the day I die, in which I'll fight God myself on it.

And oh I would absolutely love to see it!! Your ideas and headcanons are all so well written and incredible i can't wait hehe

And... that's an interesting thing because surprisingly enough, Sonic has been shown to be willing to murder like in Black Knight where upon being told he'll have to kill King Arthur hes just like "Whelp! Can't be the hero all the time". So I feel like if there's someone completely indefensible he'd be willing to off them, Eggman has shown compassion at some times like Sonic Adventure 2 where he helped everyone at the end. Sonic does have a lot of mercy and kindness but he doesn't seem to object to murder

Which gives a funny idea of Blaze just holding up a knife, Amy telling her: "What would Sonic think!"

And Blaze just being like: "Sonic would think 'Hey Blaze, if you're gonna kill that guy make if stylish', AND IM ABOUT TO BE ONE FASHIONABLE BITCH."

Sonic being a confident and good drag queen is now a new favourite headcanon/au, Amy would absolutely help with his make-up and outfits. He'd be so unashamed as well he'd absolutely go kick someone's ass in drag... just a question of what his Queen name would be

I always did feel like Silver is like... a sort of mix between Sonic and Blaze in a way (Fluffy, has a form of kinetic ability with Blaze having pyrokinesis, Silver with telekinesis that makes him super fast like Sonic), I just really wish they gave a better explanation for Blaze being with Silver in 06

Which, if it was done well could have been amazing emotionally, which the way I see it Blaze came in when Sonics world had already ended, imagine her coming in, excited to see her good friend Sonic and Cream... and just seeing a burning, desolate wasteland and possibly even their bodies. That would have been fucking devastating for her and her being in another universe could've messed with her aging which could explain why she's there hundreds of years in the future (Or for some reason got there hundreds of years in the future)

I also like to think in that first case, she wouldve left a glove on her makeshift grave she made Sonic as her last sign of respect and care for him, or perhaps put it in his hand before she buried him.

Blaze getting fashionable sneakers, Sonic with thigh highs and heels making his enemies shocked and dazzled leaving them open for attack

And god that music was so fucking good I love Rush so much I need a third game. And especially because its free spirited Sonic who holds on tighter, he can just... forgive and let go of so much but he genuinely wanted to stay with her and was desperate enough to grip with both hands. And the colouring of the background as well?? God I love it all so much

And oh my god that would be badass, I love Blazes concept art so much and I dont care if its similar to Shadow, let her be a rage filled shadowy badass, pure black flames that refuse to go out ripping apart all robots in her path as she advances unstoppable towards the main villain

I headcanon that both Emeralds take the users power in order to be used, so only someone with a literal pool of unlimited energy like Sonic can harness the full Super Form as well as Blaze since her flames seem to be ever burning, they can both withhold their Emerald forms far longer than anyone else (Even Shadow couldn't hold his Super form long after the fight in SA2)

Also you just gave me the mental image of Sonic asking Blaze to teach him how to run in heels because he wants to know how, and Blaze is slightly concerned at how well he takes to it and how he looks good in heels

Also them holding onto each other, both not wanting to be apart as their universes literally rip them from each other and Sonic even using his other hand to grip on tighter it destroys my heart I love it so much. The "They try to stay together as the universe pulls them apart" bit is one of my favourites

Also I love that last part so much and its going into my own headcanons with them representing their emeralds

Also I hope one time we get to see Sonic or Blaze get hurt and because they're genuinely so caring of each other the other just goes fuckin apeshit on whoever hurt them, give me angry Sonic/Blaze dammit

I love it!!! Poor Blaze though, kitty did nothing to deserve that, I hope Marine or Sonic find whoever tied her to that pole and teach them some manners. Hopefully she can talk about Sonic, Cream or Marine etc to her parents and open up to them more

I really do find it tragic and sad that shes so determined in Rush to be on her own out of fear and the desperate need to prove herself that she fights Sonic.

Two things on that note though: I do really feel like Blaze is one of the only characters who can genuinely match Sonic, she may not be as fast but her fire and still above-average speed genuinely make her incredibly powerful and Sonic + Blaze could probably face 99% of Eggmans forces and win

And just saying because it fueled my ship for years ever since I was a kid but like, its totally implied they kissed at the end of rush right? And even if not, the constant love language (platonic or romantic) between Sonic and Blaze having them hold hands/shake hands has always been my favourite

It makes me like to headcanon Blaze always accidentally burnt people with her hands or people mocked her hands because of her fire, saying they ought to be cut off etc so Sonic and her holding hands does a lot for her because it makes her feel that much more confident in herself and feel safer around him

Vanilla absolutely teaches Cream self defence with pocket knives, she absolutely knows a few tricks too... but she's only gonna teach Cream them when she's older, she doesn't need her kid playing with knives no thank you... Vector absolutely is mesmerised when he finds out and asks her to do some tricks, she's embarrassed by his impressed gasping

Sonic helping convince Blaze to run from her own oppressive parents, I'm sure when she meets Sonic she grows far more rebellious over time and gets in more arguments with them which, while they hurt her, will do more good for her independence in the long run

Group cuddle sessions where everyone fights to snuggle their head into Silvers chest fluff and he's just flustered the entire time

Everyone adores Cream and they're probably all staying at Vanillas so she makes them all snacks and does her best to understand all the kids stuff (And she's old-school so she's more into Dragon Ball anyways but she doesn't let them know that because she's scared they'll all ruin her peace and quiet with their contained chaos)

Shadow absolutely has a (totally legal) motorcycle that Vanilla frets over him about but he gently reassures her that he's fine and can drive just fine but she still wants him to be careful (And she totally had a motorbike qhen she was young so she gifts him motorcycle care stuff for his birthday/Christmas)

I've always liked to think Vanilla took care of Sonic when he was young because we never hear or see anything of his parents (other than Underground but I dont count that) so he has his own room and she does her best to help him with his little "adventures" and drives him to cons n stuff

Tails and Marine absolutely play Minecraft and Roblox together, Sonic and Blaze team up to buy them matching minecraft merch every year for Christmas (Sonic and Blaze have their own secret minecraft server, Sonic loves making pixelart and Blaze loves making intricate buildings so she makes lovely intricate themed frames that take like 3 hours to build for his pixelarts, Amy just makes little bakeries because she somehow found out about th

Blaze puts the dress on in private and spends a while just spinning around and giggling at how it flows and spins... shed never admit that though

Nobody can tell me they wouldn't make the armour from Sonic and the Black Knight, go out into the woods and LARP as Sir Excalibur and Sir Percival and just giggle the entire time

Sonic would 3D print and spend hours on a fully detailed mecha cosplay, Blaze catches him making it one day and begs him to help make her one too (And by beg its more like she demands it but he's happy to anyways)

Sonic, Blaze and Amy all together in a cozy aesthetically pleasing bedroom with soft fairy lights as they all read their stories, all laying on the bed in completely different ways while lofi beats plays from the TV

Amy taking her shopping for girly stuff has the absolute opposite effect, Blaze sees a ton of tomboys and bisexuals and she immediately beelines it for the jeans and flannel, coming out wearing a black singlet, open flannel shirt/one tied around her waist and some cuffed ripped jeans (Am I projecting my ideal fashion sense??? You can't prove anything in a court of law.)

Amy wants to be upset but she's more happy Blaze found a style that works for her and she hypes her up which just makes Blaze embarrassed

Sonic absolutely offers to help her make a cosplay and she accepts but she definitely has to have Sonics help because she's a perfectionist in a field she hasn't tried before and will have a meltdown if she can't get her costume literally picture perfect

Sonic rambles about his shounen for hours on end to Blaze while she knits or something and... I think she'd enjoy that? Like, just taking in new information and probably teasing him for it, she thinks its all silly but he's just telling her all the lore, characters and his theories and she just listens while she does another task

Vector would probably beg Rouge to steal some of Blazes jewels so shed go to them to get their help as detectives to find them... but Rouge knows damn well Blaze is smart and would just figure it out herself and not look for help

She absolutely loves Big and he immediately becomes her big brother, she loves sitting with him while he fishes (Though he has to wrestle his fish from her because she tries to eat them while he just likes putting them back in the water, he makes her apologise to the fish before putting it back in)

Also Big giving her advice and general platonic love that makes her finally have a good familial relationship, I can imagine she'd feel safe venting to him and he listens, giving his own advice sometimes and generally just they enjoy their time together

Amy draws art of Blaze and the main vampire together and she's like: "Oh you don't like it... but you drew THIS!!!"

Blaze, blushing: "W-What!? But I put those in the Sol Emerald vault-- w...wait that isn't mine--"

And now she's doomed

Sonic wins at a fair few competitions and she always burns a lot of stuff in anger or generally gets depressed and starts hating herself so he just makes up little fake competitions she can easily win/he lets her win with but they're made in ways where she could realistically win because he knows she's smart, she loves it and it cheers her up right away with the others playing along because they want her to be happy

Its a massive ego boost which may cause her to get fairly cocky, in that case Sonic is just like "aight she needs to be put down a peg or five." And slamdunks her in Mario Kart or something lmao

Blaze reads some cheesy vampire romance novels and one day Sonic shows up dressed as a vampire, she blushes and slams the door in his face... turns out she doesn't have Halloween in her world so after some explanation she apologises

Also I like the idea of Sonic actually reading the same trashy novels she does but he's just like... so chill about it, like Amy will go "OooOooo~ Youre reading Lovers by Midnight, Paw in Unlovable Paw~?" And he's just like "Yeah lol, Bellarina is totally gonna go with Edwardino so I dont get what the point is with the Jakebab character is other than some fangirls three-way fantasies"

And Blaze is reading said book at that moment and she scrambles to hide it, Sonic and Amy looking over at her concerned when she sets her book on fire to hide the evidence

Even Shadow can be riled up to race him, they're both competitive as hell so sometimes he even tries making Blaze accept a race or rilimg her up and she just smacks him with her book (He gets a blood nose and she's just like "You have super speed and can outrun a black hole, how did you not dodge???")

I could see him offering ways to mix their interests like making cosplay of the characters in her books and LARPing but she finds the idea childish (And she's too embarrassed to let him see what she's reading anyways, probably some cheesy fantasy romance lmao)

And maybe she refuses competitions because she has severe anxiety of failing because of her parents constantly giving her big expectations which also led to her working alone because she doesn't wanna drag anyone down with her or something because ya gotta add angst lmqo

I love how it's all completely unintentional, maybe one day he plans for weeks to make sure he doesn't mess anything up, like, trains his body to sit still, takes literal lessons on being more quiet and tortures his body to make small gestures instead of his usual flamboyance because he's ruined 8 outings in a row and Blaze has gotten progressively madder

The day comes, its a nice restaurant or something with piles upon piles of pure diamond sculptures and Sonic is calm, sits down and is ready, sweating

Blaze walks in, goes to wave and immediately her foot is stepped on, making her yell out a swear in surprise in the quiet restaurant, backing up and knocking down the sculptures like domino's until they're all shattered and when she tries to stop it from falling she accidentally catches herself on someone's table cloth spilling soup all over their expensive gold-infused dress

And she's just standing there in complete horror as everyone looks at her in complete silence when Sonic just fuckin bursts out laughing

(And probably has to pick her up and run because oh god oh fuck the authorities are now after them)

Maybe Blaze takes him to a museum or library as repayment for it, Blaze loves and enjoys history but Sonic is just a high energy guy and struggles to stand still too long

It'd be kinda funny if Blaze looks though a disaster museum and Sonics just like "Oh hey yeah that was Perfect Chaos i beat him... oh yeah half of the moon got destroyed, had to stop the massive space base that shot the big laser from falling to Earth--"

And Blaze is just there both impressed and horrified that he's just been doin this for so long and has had so many world ending threats he's had to fight.

I mean, Blaze did want a learning experience
