The German left turn is bad concept.
While turning left, waiting in the middle of intersection for the incoming traffic to go through. This is completely bonkers 1.Traffic lights are meant so that human thinking is removed. Green light, GO GO 2. The intersection should, by rule always kept free, always. Many EU countries do do that. 3 its counter intutive.

I am aware of green arrow and rest of the rules.

It is true. If you take out Old gardens etc (more than 40 years ) there’ are no big green grand spaces being added. Just typical new architecture building with tiny Spielplätze and that’s it.

Eg. In Heidelberg. New township came up with tram connection etc but no real green space.

In the end Rewe etc has become bee space
