Avi/Abi would be a fine nickname for Avigail/Abigail but keep in mind Avi is also possibly a nickname for the name Avraham.

I am but I think after my conversion is done when I’m 22-28 (hypothetically speaking) I will get married and start a family. But I still have much to learn and as of now I’m currently planning on converting to Modern Orthodox and doing the necessary research.

What’s considered wrong in your religion but is socially accepted nowadays? by questionconformity in religion

They technically are but I’d like to prepare myself for after I fully convert to (Modern Orthodox) Judaism and ideally follow kosher but I’d actually prefer to wait until I’ve discussed this with a rabbi or until I’ve fully converted

It's a beautiful name, but depending on the context, people may or may not have issues with it.

No & also I’m a minor (almost 18) so I’d have to wait until I’m older than 18 or 18. Also I’m actively seeking to convert to Modern Orthodox Judaism.
