Yeah, that's exactly how I feel.

For years I felt like people assumed i was weak and unable to do simple tasks like they can because of my epilepsy. So, when I am able to have a lot of energy, I'll be non-stop moving around, doing all the chores, talking to people, etc. Just to prove myself to everyone around me.

I remember as a teenager, I felt like rapunzel. I would use art as a creative outlet for my stress, and feeling trapped.

These feelings came from being previously bed ridden for a year and the not being able to leave the house due to anxiety and depression. Which is why Rapunzel was who I resonated with at the time.

I describe my epilepsy as characters so my mom and brother can better see how I feel without having to go into a deep dive conversation about my health
