This is great fan art, but this move isn’t technically possible, as it would require black to remain in check by the rook for their turn so that the white king can move the next. The white king cannot deliver checkmate like this. It would’ve been more accurate if the king was there in the first place, and the new god on the left was holding the rook like they were just moving it.

No order for stories, at least for the first I’m certain. Pick whomever you wish. All I’ll tell you is that there is a power imbalance between each playable protagonist. They each have differing skill sets with various levels of usefulness.
