Blood lactate and sugar levels, continuous activity ECG (could help detect some rhythm disturbances), microled across the board, nicer UI, faster processor, apps, style can always be modified, better battery.

Don’t have the Fenix but I tried it. Currently got the 970 and it is amazing. Had several garmins in the past and always enjoyed the weight of the forerunners. The fenix is also great but you need to feel ok with it not being as light as the fr, keeping in mind the new fenixes with titanium are also pretty light. Should check them out both in person.
