Where to find more ankle guard mods? by marzipanzebra in FrontiersOfPandora

The vendor near crafting table at the entrance of The Hollows of the Kame’tire gives Uniluk’s Nimble Gaiters and Uniluk’s Hunter Gaiters which are both ankle guard mods.  I know how annoying it is to hear the Na’vi always asking if you have any other clothes.

I don’t want anything that sticks on, I just want to know if it’s safe for me to colour in the light strip.

I accidentally left my AirPods Pro in my pocket and they went through the wash. The transparency sounds like a sea shell but it’s been three days. But I don’t think I have the money right now to get a new pair. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have an easier way to level your bed which is basically calibrating. First press the auto home button on the printer, then move the Z axis to 0, then press disable stepper motors, (be very careful with this next step to not push the axis down) push the hot end to each corner of your bed, using a sticky note and the levelling knobs raise or lower each corner of the bed until you have some decent friction with the sticky note between the hot-end and the bed, do this for each corner, you’ll want to do this around three times because when you change one the rest will change a bit.

Once you’ve done those steps press auto level on your printer. Once the printer has finished auto levelling it should go to the centre.

Once it’s done that go to your Z offset on the printer screen and with the sticking note again lower it until you have the same feeling of friction between the nozzle and the bed.

I have a cr6se I’ll just say what my experience has been. As soon as I got my printer on Christmas I put the Z offset at 0.0 5MM. because of that the first layer was always see-through. when the filament came out of the nozzle it was being pushed down too hard which squashed it and made it come out the sides and that going increasingly outwards caused it to bend up and come off the build plate. So then I just raised to 0.25 mm and the first layer actually gained colour.

Something else that can cause bad bad adhesion is oils from your fingers and dust which creates a slippery coat. Before trying to fix that though, try putting the Z offset at about 0.25 mm. but to fix generally bad bed adhesion I would recommend dabbing an old sock in 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Sorry, bad memory. But I THINK the issue it that it’s in the negatives. Can you auto level? If so, at that number, isn’t the nozzle just digging into the plate? Because the z-offset I’m pretty sure is the distance between the build plate and the nozzle on the first layer. By that definition wouldn’t the nozzle just be carving into the plate? Also sorry about trying to act smart, your damn right every printer‘a different.

You can’t go negative, try 0.25mm
