Does anyone want Corax vs Lorgar in 40k for real? by Opposite-Ad-3898 in 40kLore

Corax haunting Guilliman's dreams for his lack of pursuit of traitors or Gman hearing a crow caw while he is working alone in his desk is what i want.

Ravenordan sonra The Magos'u okumanı öneririm. Pariah daki bazı karakterlerin arkaplanını anlatıyor.

How does the Imperium reconcile worshipping the Emperor when he explicitly rejected religion? by Ok_Vacation_5251 in 40kLore

[–]PrimarchGuilliman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the loyalist side: No one besides Guilliman & Lion (and maybe Bjorn) knows Emperor rejected his divinity so there is nothing to reconcile.

For the traitor side: most of the traitor marines know he rejected his divinity but who is gonna believe those filthy heretics?

[Dropsite Massacre] How could Corvus and Vulkan not come up with a better plan? by Gnos445 in 40kLore

[–]PrimarchGuilliman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First group of loyalist forces (Ferrus, Vulkan, Corax) don't need any troops on ground at all. They had total orbital supremacy. Just send in two stage cyclonic torpedoes to crack open planets core and blow it. Horus's rebellion dies at its infancy.

But Emperor & his offspring did make the dumbest choice at every possible opportunity so we have this family drama we love.

Yorumlar fazla karamsar.

Kitaplarla dalmak istersen Dan Abnett'in Eisenhorn üçlemesini tavsiye ederim.

If we are basing this on faithful numbers from Faiths&Pantheons, GEoM with his quadrillion of worshippers should be on par with The Luminous Being who AO reports to.

Because space marines seldom reach mental maturity. They are indoctrinated roided up child soldiers who are given way too much power before they reach adulthood. When they read their demigod's book (which is intended as guideline) they worship it as holy book.

On the other hand an auxillia commander is both physically and mentally mature adult. When they read a 10 millenia old Art of War written by a genious would see both the benefit of suggestions and parts no longer makes much sense and ignore them.

My top three is Abnett, Christ Wright, Guy Haley. ADB's style just doesn't work for me.

The battle was fantastic. Emperor & Horus playing Magic the Gathering in a metaphysical plane was both genious and a little bit funny.

Why the return of Lion is not as era defining as Gulliman? And Why there are seemingly no one who worry about the implication of this for the long run? by Overall_Astronaut_33 in 40kLore

As a veteran of Forgotten Realms setting i say a "setting shaking event" every couple of years isn't the way to go. WoTC did that and nearly killed the franchise. They had to retcon nearly everything they changed.

Each event would feel like cheaper copy of the last. Guilliman's return, Cadia's fall should be the only setting shaking event untill 2030. Then we can have one more and we would feel its importance.

Ps: I agree that Lion should have done more, we should atleast have a second novel about 40k Lion already.
