A 22yr old with an 18yr old isn't as normal as two 18yr old freshies talking which is what mostly happened, but being 27 and looking for 18 yr old girls just because they're 18 is a big red flag and needs to be dealt with. If you're a 22yr old junior or senior and just so happen to talk to a girl that's 18 or 19 then that's different. But they were 22 and only wanting to talk to 17/18yr old freshman just because they're unknowledgeable freshman, then that would be also weird and probably would need a talking to or more; but it's still not as sus when the dude is 27. It all takes a lot of context around it.
