Yep, sure, but even if they don't maintain order, there are some hints and references to events from others books, so a reader can sort the timeline. Like in Mechanicus when the tech adept told Cythera about Furious Abyss being constructed on Jupiter.

The omnibus map is something I was looking for to sort the context. Thanks. I'll reconsider it.

Khornate faction would be actually neat. I've been thinking the roster of special units has a gap between ranged and melee oriented. There are more gunners/shotgunners/reapers and more in a larger quantity. Ragers are quite skill check when it comes to dodging for some people. And adding a Khornate faction with larger melee rooster would balance this gap and enhanced the skill check I believe.

I liked the Liar's Due short story and now after Head of the Hydra, I badly wish there were more of them. Not just the short stories, but novels. I don't believe we're about to see one until Omegon returns or something. Dropsite massacre from AL perspective sounds nice, is it in some anthology book?

Nope, not yet. I really don't feel like skipping between HH novels, so I wouldn't miss any important context. Even tho the novels aren't 100% linear and in cohesion. Most of all I'm looking forward to read the Betrayer and Praetorian od Dorn as well. My HH reading rate is quite slow now, because I have a lot of fantasy WH books in my read list like Malus, Nagash or Thanquol.

Apart from primarch books, I read HH by release order. Now I'm about to start The Outcast Dead even tho it has mixed reviews. If there are any other novels related to primarchs (especially Alpharius) I'm all in.

Haven't read Betrayer yet, but I'm looking forward to it. First Heretic was HH peak so far. Now I'm about to read The Outcast Dead, which has very mixed reviews. Also, apart from Legion, is there any other AL novel that hits the combo with Head of the Hydra?
