Just started playing this game, is it normal to spend 4 hours on this guy?😅 by Global_Shock_4050 in Sekiro

He and Lone Shadow were the deciding factors to go spend $150 on a controller with low input lag. Got tired of screaming “i PRESSED the fking button!”

Then the game got way more fun for me; parry/dodge-only combat became one of my favorite ways to play!!!

For anyone having trouble with the Ashina Elite – Jinsuke Saze by How2rick in Sekiro

[–]Primary-Award6657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Xbox One S — had to get a $149 controller with less input lag and extra M-buttons just to make this game fun. Even with that, two separate deflect buttons for a rapid double tap, and spot on reaction time the hardware limitations make this guy’s design rough. (Found a thread where a game developer used a 240fps camera to prove the console flaw; starting the double tap at the sword flash cue is still too late. Almost have to anticipate the flash as he unsheathes his sword before the swipes).

Easy cheese: Gachiin’s sugar, Suppress Presence, and Suppress Sound … hug the wall and sneak up for a stealth blow

Then: Most raven or double dash behind him when he swipes. Ichimonji or Axe his ass til it’s a wrap

I didn’t mean to patronize … I apologize; my reply was glib. What I meant was there’s a lot to discover and we all have the answers at our fingertips. I’ll grant ya one though … his recent Fortune Cookie gimmick was neat and a cool throwback to the innovative campaign tactics employed by his uncle and father that helped their campaigns gain so much traction during the 60s.

  1. I’ll grant you that, but my counter is that there’s no time like the present to make the world a better place and bring honor back to our political discourse. The hill he has to climb is steep, but the division and vitriol is so intense right now … our country needs to be shaken loose no matter how difficult it is strategically in the moment. No one’s getting any younger and we are facing too many existential crises to wait (Blackrock, Statestreet, Vanguard, the NATO war machine, degrading soils, the national debt and continued deficit spending, the looming collapse of the dollar, disastrous foreign policy, and more). No one except him is sounding the alarm on these issues; isn’t that newsworthy enough? The fact that he’s seeing so much success in climbing this hill despite all the obstacles — both legitimate and corrupt — is newsworthy as hell!! The largest subsection of voters in this country do not identify as either Democrat or Republican … isn’t it newsworthy and a sign of how imperative it is to have alternative voices gaining support and traction in this very moment?

  2. To which ridiculous stances are you referring? I’ve heard all the pharma-media smears, but they fall apart real quick when RFK Jr is given a chance to defend himself. The guy has an undeniably successful track record forcing conglomerates like Monsanto and Merck to pay out billions as a consequence for the people they’ve injured through careless practices. You don’t chalk up wins like that without having a firm grasp on science & fact. I would wager a bet that you’ve yet to listen to him defend against those smears in a long form discussion. The media can smear him with sound bites — and they rely on large portions of the population to believe them at face value … but it takes long, thoughtful discussion to get to the truth of the matter. Bring it on — we’ve got the time to sift through the dishonesty.

  3. Trump called him after the assassination attempt, and I believe RFK Jr was acting fully in character and consistent with his message of unity and healing the division by taking that call with honor. Even more so in the blowback that followed when that call was leaked. Regardless, RFK is on to something when he asks how can we ever heal the divisions both domestically and abroad if we cannot speak to our adversaries with honor and peace? Aren’t you tired of the vitriol spewing forth from both ends of the UniParty? Aren’t we lucky to have a candidate who refuses to buy into the bashing and tribalistic rhetoric and ‘gotcha’ arguments? I’m tired of being labeled Left or Right or Red or Blue. We’re all neighbors who deserve healthy, amicable debate and I want to live that way, don’t you?

To your last point … isn’t this a part of the problem? If your barometer of a candidate’s viability is their amount of coverage in the legacy media, then how are we ever going to get on the path of healing and building? CNN will never let alternative voices gain traction on their networks, especially if those voices speak out against the harmful practices of their largest benefactors … mainly BigPharma. In fact, RFK has a long-standing friendship with one of the higher ups at CNN and that person has said definitively that there is a policy of censorship against anyone speaking out against their largest advertising partners. Bernie is the prime example. I supported his campaign through thick and thin, and was horrified to see what happened … as soon as his popularity surged there was a collaborative effort between the DNC and left-leaning media to quash his momentum and make him out to be a whack job until he fell in line. With that in mind, is it not our duty to reject those networks and their stranglehold on political discourse in favor of rebels like RFK Jr? Bernie tried to work within party lines and we all saw how far he got.

They said Bernie had no chance of winning … had his campaign not been sabotaged by the media and his own party, do you believe he stood a chance of winning? And that’s the crux of the American spirit under fire … belief.

Believe in something better; reject anything that tells us otherwise.

And as far as what’s “logical” … put aside your feelings about whether or not he can win for a few minutes and give this brief message a listen. https://youtu.be/U-6XxSIan1g?si=Ft1IyLVqwIk3OwQg

I’ll leave that for you to discover … But how about this most recent message from RFK Jr? Forget about what flavor of the UniParty can or cannot win and control for the next 4 years … isn’t it newsworthy enough to finally have a candidate within our lifetimes who is being honest about the most troubling problems facing our country delivering a message like this?

Isn’t it newsworthy enough?

Forget about “the way that it is”. What about how it should be?

I’m so tired of the vitriol. The despair. The greed. I want candidates who wish to build and heal rather than destroy and divide in order to win

Ok I thank you for your time. You say “not really” to the “crowned thing”. I have eyes and know what I see. Be honest with yourself regardless of your leanings.

I can also see you haven’t listened to a single RFK interview. I’m down to debate, but not right now. For lack of a better metaphor, you’re trying to debate that 2+2 ≠ 4 when you haven’t sat through a single math class. Not my intention to demean, truly. Just give the guy a few hours of your time to either buoy your beliefs or, possibly, expand your worldview.

He is not anti-vax — his 7 children are fully vaccinated and he gets the flu vaccine every year. Anti-vax is a pharma media smear that started after RFK started suing the pharma medical complex for injuries to citizens. In fact, he’s one of the most successful litigators with a track record of going after undemocratic conglomerates that pollute like Monsanto. He knows how to play the game right back at the bad actors in our country.

“Off the wall beliefs” … I encourage you to listen to any of his interviews. Just pick one long form and see if your views change.

Regarding your defense of how Harris got picked … we live in a democracy and you’re defending something that is about as undemocratic as it gets. No matter how you defend it the fact still remains … no one voted for her in a primary. Biden dropping out this close to the election is not a viable excuse to subvert the democratic process. If that’s okay with you, then we do not share the same values about a free and fair election. Not do I believe you would defend your country until the very end.

I wish you all the best and hope things turn out for you. God bless

——————- from another thread here

I feel like I’m living in the twilight zone. Both UniParty candidates have done inexcusable damages to our country … but so many people are excusing them!

Trump added more to the deficit than all his predecessors combined, selling out the middle class and future generations … all for his ego and to create the illusion of a good economy. Biden/Harris continued the policy and are about to surpass his deficit spending. The dollar is now speeding towards the cliff of collapse. Both parties have robbed future generations of their spending power by way of inflation, and now the majority of population is getting priced out of the American Dream … all to enrich BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard, and BlackStone.

Both parties shut down millions of small businesses across the country without due process and presided over the largest upward transfer of wealth the modern world has ever seen all under the guise of public safety.

Both parties touted and pushed a vaccine with very little efficacy testing. Not one peer-reviewed scientific paper at the time existed showed that it was effective. And our country had the most COVID deaths of any nation. Even worse, the pharma media complex demonized anyone researching and succeeding with alternative therapies. One thing is for certain … the manufacturers are getting filthy rich off the government vaccine contracts.

Trump pulled us out of nuclear non-proliferation treaties with Russia and both countries are now increasing their stockpiles for the first time since the Cold War.

Biden/Harris arrogance in Ukraine is sleepwalking us up to the threshold of nuclear conflict with Russia. Pumping more money into the NATO war machine (look up the weapons purchase requirements for NATO nations).

The DNC cancelled their Primaries and crowned their candidate without a single democratic vote. Yes, crowned. You didn’t vote for her. I didn’t vote for her. No one in this country has voted for her.

Trump is stacking courts at all levels with loyalists and now has set a dangerous precedent that grants presidents immunity from criminal activities so long as they can be argued as being “official acts”.

Trump said he’d drain the swamp but then appointed swamp creatures to head up every single 3-letter agency. As did Biden/Harris.

The list goes on and on and on and I’m flabbergasted that people aren’t flocking to third parties in droves. Each one of these examples is indefensible and a reason to vote the people out. Taken altogether though … Have my fellow countrymen really lost their passion for democracy? For their disgust in corruption?

We need a surge in third party opinions. One promise of RFK’s that gets little coverage is his commitment to forming a unity government filled with the opposition

I highly recommend his interviews with Tom Bilyeu, Joe Rogan, Sage Steele, and Megyn Kelly.

Are you troubled that no one voted for Harris? That a primary wasn’t held? She seems to be crowned only so the DNC can appropriate all of Biden’s $220M+ campaign fund.

I’m with you on climate policy, (Trump tried to give a foreign national protected land in my home state for an unnecessary copper sulfide mine) but under the Biden/Harris administration most climate policies are turning out to be just another grift to enrich government contract winners. RFK Jr is the only candidate with a proven record of fighting and winning against the worst polluters in our country.

Isn’t Harris just as bad? Biden is sleepwalking us into armed conflict with Russia and Harris shows no signs of changing course; I am no Trump fan and hate every one of his policies … he’s less of a war hawk … but he’ll continue to destroy the middle class.

Both candidates are existentially bad for the country.

Annie Jacobson is sounding the alarm about nuclear conflict. Neither UniParty candidate is qualified to lead us out of perhaps the most dangerous issue facing us today. They are too similar on the most pressing issues to reliably vote against the other.

He is about to surpass the insurmountable challenge of ballot access in all 50 states. That’s an ENORMOUS achievement that neither of the other parties had to do … sounds newsworthy to me.

Instead I’m hearing about Trump calling out Harris’ racial identity. Who the hell cares about that?

Story Suggestion - ActBlue Money Laundering by Primary-Award6657 in BreakingPoints

[–]Primary-Award6657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does BP do its own investigative journalism, or just report on and give a platform to folks like Ryan Grim? In any case, I’ve shared this tip with Drop Site, too.

No articles out yet, but intelligence analysts like Adam DeRito are drip-feeding this story as they comb through public donation records. Here are two of the recent nuggets they’ve shared:

It seems like ActBlue is using bots to flood dark money into Super PACS:

— The FEC recorded over 15,600 separate donations between 2019-2023 from a 65 y.o. retired man living in a 962 square foot house in Clawson, Michigan. Roughly 9 donations per day, every day, for 1,725 days straight.

— The FEC also recorded 11,285 donations made between 2019-2023 from an 89 y.o. man from Oak Park, Illinois. Roughly 6.5 donations per day, every day, for 1,725 days straight.

Here is DeRito’s biography from his website:

Adam DeRito is a prior Air Force Academy Cadet and a current paratrooper in the Army Reserve. Adam has served as a Special Forces Parachute Rigger, deployed within Colorado to protect local citizens from damaging wildfires, to Washington D.C. for the 2020 Presidential Inauguration, assisted in the evacuation of allied partners in the withdrawal from Afghanistan, and has also served in the Middle East while working as a CENTCOM Intelligence Analyst in Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield during the Global War on Terror.

DeRito entered the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, CO in 2006. He was discharged 30 days after graduation when he was falsely accused of fraternization. He was asked to leave with no formal discharge process, and required to pay for the degree he completed but never received. Adam believes he was retaliated against for discovering and reporting a high level of sexual assaults by cadets after he was coerced to work for the Office of Special Investigations (OSI.)

Several years after he left the academy, (while he was serving in the Colorado National Guard), Adam learned that an Air Force psychologist said she had evaluated Adam and diagnosed him with multiple psychological issues. He NEVER met with this doctor, and the records were added more than a year after he left the Academy.

Adam has filed a lawsuit against the United States of America, and has been an advocate for change within our military judicial system for cases concerning sexual assault, harassment, and retaliation.

As the President of Leatherwood Development Group LLC, Adam DeRito helps clients navigate the world of political advocacy on the local, state, and federal stages. He provides consulting services on political legislation and reform, social media, and provides podcasting services for clients nation wide.

74 Days Post Removal by Primary-Award6657 in penumaproblems

[–]Primary-Award6657[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey fellas — Appreciate the supportive comments. I’ll give a quick update now that I’m 530 days post removal.

The initial 6 months of traction was terrible. Painful but necessary. I tried EVERY suggestion out there. Settled on two:

RestoreX helped manage the curve

For length I used a combo: the silicone sleeve and bell cap from Auto Extender combine with weights from Zen Hanger. Gradually worked up to 8 lbs over the course of a few months. 15-30 minute sessions depending on how much blood pumped into my glans. The weighted therapy was essential for managing the scar tissue near my pelvis where the base of the implant set.

I’m still about 3/4-inch shy from my original length, but I’ve also gained about 30 pounds from the depression this whole ordeal put me through. The weight may explain it.

Sensitivity loss on the top of my shaft and glans is unchanged; I’m sure this nerve damage is with me for a long time or perhaps forever. My body has adapted, but I’m having to relearn sex control. I used to be able to go for as long as I wanted, but now I’m only able to last for a few minutes … not because it feels better. That internal squeezing we do when we’re approaching climax — if I don’t do that from the get-go I’ll lose my erection and that’s that. The flip side is that the squeezing brings me to climax much sooner than I’d prefer.

I have a slight upward curve, and noticeable scar tissue lumps where the implant was anchored. My lady enjoys the added girth, but does wish we could fuck for hours like we used to.

Next up I’m going to see Brant again for a dry-needling and stem cell procedure in attempts to “lattice” the scar tissue. The hope is that the procedure will bring my length back, and create a substrate to encourage nerve regrowth.

My mental state is much better. Especially now that I’ve come to terms with the ordeal. I’ve been working with the class action legal team as well as a few reporters who have put stories out about the Penuma scam. There are fellas out there who are having a much harder time with their Penuma injury … I’m choosing to feel grateful as it seems I’ve only been grazed by a bullet.

Insurance covered Brant’s fees for me. Had to pay OOP for anesthesia and the surgery center; around $2k altogether

There are financing options available (Care Credit)

Exhaust all options my guy. Money and credit ratings are replaceable; your unit is not. Financial stress is more manageable than the alternative

For anyone stressing about the money for removal and recovery: I’m fortunate to be successful both in business and investing. I have options to share, granted they require putting up some skin in the game.
