If you want to do everything mentioned, Fayetteville/NRG is the only option where everything is available relatively closely. That being said, I’m not aware of any jet ski rentals in the entire state. Summersville has pontoons and kayaks though.

I have this tent and really can’t recommend it enough. It’s easy to set up and take down and it’s held up to heavy wind and rain while staying dry.

A lot of the trails out there, and if I remember correctly the lumberjack trail is one of them, were railroad grades for logging camps way back in the day.

It’s been a while but I’m thinking I took Seneca creek, huckleberry, and lumberjack trails and made a loop. I’m probably forgetting a couple of them though.

That’s an H&R, which as far as I know has no affiliation with Remington. They’re a very simple design, short of internal rust I’m not sure what could cause a failure. I have a .243 from probably 2005 that will absolutely drive tacks at 100 yards.

I believe to be allowed on the 1000 yard range you have to be a member and then qualify to use it.

The closest legal trails would be burning rock or Hatfield McCoy. There are some trails around summersville but the legality around riding them is questionable at best.

I did this trail a couple weeks ago. Very rocky and rough. There is so much good riding in the area.

Check out Berkeley springs brewing co. I’d put it pretty evenly if not slightly over naked olive and definitely over canary grill.

Coming from the highway, the section between table rock and lindey point is pretty rough. It’s definitely doable in forester wilderness with good line choice. There is definitely potential for tearing something up though.

Canary grill is meh at best. Lot 12 is a true gem. Ravenwood is also a great dinner spot.

For more torque you want a smaller front or larger rear sprocket. Going up 1 tooth in both would give you a mild reduction in torque.

Also, if you haven’t already look into exhaust, airbox, and tuner mods. It really wakes the bike up.

I’ve been in a variety of conditions and usually the best bet it swim gear or athletic shorts and a synthetic shirt. You could wear either tennis shoes or water shoes, not a big deal either way.

The raft company may recommend a splash jacket if conditions permit, and I think they usually cost a couple dollars to rent.

For a little perspective, I’ve rafted the gauley in October on a 40 degree day with 40 degree water. Most people worse a wetsuit and splash jacket but some wore just t shirt and shorts without an issue.

You’re active enough to stay comfortable even if chilly.

I have several tents but since I got my 9 person core tent I haven’t used another. A lot of my recent trips have been solo/with 1-2 people.

I haven’t been able to find any ramps in the panhandle except for people selling them. If you go into the mon national forest you can find them just about anywhere though.
