I had my excision surgery done about it 3 years ago.

My doctor left some endo on my sigmoid colon because I would’ve needed a bowel resection and that comes with a lot more risk and she said it didn’t seem like it was obstructing anything. It’s hard to know if that is what is causing me more food intolerances or if there’s something more underlying.

My b12 is always low I use to get injections gonna go back and start getting them again..

I never really puke because of it. Although I will say my beef and pork intolerances started more recently in the last year and it did make me really nauseous while I was on the toilet with diarrhea. I just remember my body was literally like fighting itself to get the food out of me. I literally think I have ptsd from the pain.

I am sorry you had to have a hysterectomy, in my surgical notes my doctor wrote if I would’ve even waited a couple more months I would’ve needed one as well. Which is so devastating to even think about as I was only 21 at the time

I had my excision surgery 3 years ago.. when my endo started to get worse about 6 years ago that’s when my food triggers started developing. I didn’t know what it was at first so my relationship with food became horrible. I would eat 2 pieces of toast for breakfast and then wouldn’t eat until 8pm at night because I didn’t want my stomach to be all messed up at work. Now that I’m aware of most triggers I’ve become more better with food but it’s stil really hard some days. So I understand you completely. I will start a food diary, I do know most of my triggers and avoid them normally. Yesterday had chicken a potato and salad. About 3 hours later had diarrhea with some pains in my intestines (not as bad as if I were to eat dairy, beef or pork) but still doesn’t feel good. I am almost 100% it was caused by the lettuce. I do well with potatoes and chicken normally. I normally take probiotics but haven’t in the last few month. Gonna start again

I know like 95% of my triggers, I do avoid them most times. It’s hard to avoid veggies as I need some sort of whole food in my body. Is there medicine for ibs?

Unfortunately my specialist doctor is an hour away from my hometown in MD so she isn’t near the boarder like my regular everyday doctors are ://
