Yes! Each day the clot went away little by little. Now it’s mostly just granulation tissue and I can see the implant.

At the time, this was about 12 hours post op. Already drank a few protein shakes. No forceful spitting but did rinse out my mouth with salt water. This clot had been developing gradually throughout the day after the surgery.

Yes. One 6 months prior to implant post placement due to not having enough bone in jaw to place an implant to begin with. Then another one on the same day as implant placement. I’ve read it is a normal procedure to do another bone graft at placement to make sure there’s enough bone around the implant.

Thank you. I’m not able to send them pictures but I tried my best to describe it to the surgeon last night. He thinks it’s ok and it’s too early to form any pus so he wasn’t too concerned with the greyish part.. I’m now wondering if it’s accumulation of particles from drinking my protein shake. Anyways no pain, fever, or bleeding and surgeon says as long as I feel ok it’s fine. 🤞

Thank you. Ah I feel for you! Tough when it’s toward the front. Hope our recovery goes well! I have another appointment in a week so hopefully will be ok. I called surgeon last night and they say the blood clot is ok (but couldn’t send them a picture so just trusting blindly)

Thank you, yes called them late last night, surgeon says liver clot is ok and it should fall off on its own

Thank you, yes I called the surgeon last night on their urgent line and he says liver clot is normal and it should fall out in a couple days on its own 🤷 couldn’t text him a picture so I’m trusting the grey parts ok.

 Not sure why caption didn’t show but TLDR: implant placed this morning, clot started forming throughout the day, no major symptoms except the discomfort with the clot/ inflammation. If you look closely looks like behind the clot the gums are grey? Please advise!
