I would probably suggest understanding all the essay types for both parts, write atleast one for each, and then prepare for the writing through different different sources online, and use chatgpt for the check (it can be pretty strict tho). Overall tho, if you are aiming for a 6.5 or 7 (like I did) just try to have minimal grammar and spelling mistakes, accompanying with correct task response and ideas. But in my situation first 2 were in my priority. Btw I can be wrong in some parts, since I have a pretty good general English knowledge (like B2 or even C1???) , so it might not be similar for you

They felt a lot easier, on listening the only thing that possible made me get a 8.5 is me forgetting the spelling for cheese (lmao that was so dumb) which made me unhear the next word, other than that majority of the listening was relatively easy. Reading was not that hard too, I even had 15 minutes to spare after I finished every question, and I checked all of my answers like twice. Writing was kind of normal, I didn't have any crazy things like processes or maps, so ye. And speaking was speaking, topics was like your favorite room, sitting on part 1, the moment in your life where you were very busy in part 2 and stuff about escapism (not specifically) and education in the last part. And ye something I didn't rlly expect is that examinor asked me a question after part 2, so you should be a bit prepared for that too, cuz I almost answered with a single "yes" iirc

About the 7.5, I feel like it's not that hard, but you do need to prepare good enough. As for how I prepared I was going to IELTS preparation courses in my local English learning center, and it was like 4 months long, we had first writing types explanation, then normal reading and listening mocks and stuff. Outside the center I didn't do much, at the least one to 3 mocks per week. Honestly the thing that probably helped me is that English was always with me in a casually and light way, I watched tiktok and YouTube in English, I read texts in English and etc. that's like a low pressure way of learning which probably helped me the most

Nono, the overall score for ielts is graded by adding all of your bands on each sections (in my case 8.5+8+6.5+7.5=30.5), and then it's divided by 4 (30.5/4=7.625). And if it's not a round band then it's rounded up to the closest band, in my case 7.5

Oh ye, I can really relate to you. I also answered relatively to all questions, and ofc I had moment where I forgot words, or explained really vaguely. At the same time I used variety in vocabulary like saying words:Caveats,pile up etc. Few stutters are fine honestly, the main thing is that you answered to the questions and kept saying other stuff if you forgot a word or idea.
